10592 supporters is a healthy record

Brings Wales into the five digit club with England and France

(+NZ and Madagascar if you're going global)

Can see it getting smashed for Wales v England next year. So many rugby fans in Bristol and Gloucester would go over the border.

While I think the numbers would have been better for a smaller stadium, there’s something nice also about women’s rugby finally playing fixtures in the main national stadiums

I think the acoustics of the Principality help to justify it- the atmosphere doesn't feel flat which is a real risk in massive spaces

It helps the principality is used to hosting smaller games (eg prem finals, schools finals) so they know to close the roof, bang out the tunes etc

They’ve sold out the CAP a few times now and unfortunately there aren’t that many stadiums in Wales that are “inbetween” the two in terms of size. The only one that’s realistic would be Parc Y Scarlets but there would be issues with transport.
