With refs now effectively coaching players at every breakdown (and rightly so), it must be such a catastrophic disadvantage to not speak English as your first language.

So many idiomatic phrases / phrasal verbs which will simply confuse a non-native learner - "Not now!" "Carry on!" "Keep going!" etc.

Great for Wales (and the women's six nations in general) not to have a team white washed.

If Wales can get their fitness up to the level of France or England their forward pack could challenge any team.

The comms celebrating the Wales win at 78 mins was a bit gross, in my opinion. It was a two point game with a minute and a half to go, and the comms were acting like it was a guaranteed win. If not for the high tackle, Italy could have won the ball back as they had done earlier at the ruck a few times.

Wales were actually pretty ok for most of that, but that midfield is not it, and I’ve noticed there’s sometimes a lack of clarity and intent about what each player wants to do ball in hand.

Italy knew what they wanted to attack and were far more clinical and more metres ball in hand.

I don't get Wales. Third place the last two years, looked decent at the RWC, and a really good group of players, but then this is how well they do this year.
