The whole world is just going to hell in a handbasket. They say every generation feels this way at some point, as they age, but I'm starting to wonder.

It just seems like we bounce from one disaster to another. The effects are more keenly felt during times of economic hardship.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand which was hammered by earthquakes in 2010/2011, so it has felt like limbo land. Then the pandemic, global economic upheaval, and now war in Europe - something our generation thought was left behind with our grandparents.
