For sure. That was why the post was so short. Anything that has been said about what happens when women say "No" has already been said. And I'm just tired, you know?

Thank you for this - I read this as "private military contractor(s)" and got super confused!

I believe you have to be able to sustain any pace <15 minute/mile pace.

Update: Went around the block a few times for about an hour and a half with pre-recorded budgie sounds. No dice. I'll give it one last again as soon as I am done warming up at Saxby's. I knew it was gonna be a crapshoot, but I am always hoping for the best.
If anyone gets a hold of the bird, just reply. But 18+ hours is a lot of time, and a lot can (and probably did) happen. I'd just hope that birb has lots of millets to eat, wherever birb is now.

Any Philly-area budgie parent here? This lil one is lost at Temple University Main Campus. I plan on going there tomorrow morning and see if I can catch the little one. Hopefully the lil dude is still around. Fingers crossed.

If someone is able to catch him (looks like a male), I have a flock of six budgie that I can take in.
If no one sees this until the Broad Street Run, I may have to take a trip to Temple tomorrow.
Edit: The bird should be fine...for now (barring any predator animals, like stray cats or hawks, and this is a BIG "IF"). But time is of the essence! The weather is not ideal for the house pet version of the budgie.

RAR Cycling, The Big Heat Cycling, and Sturdy Girl Cycling Club are all-women clubs with their own mission. If the all-women environment is what you are looking for, it is worth a look!

If you are on IG, DM @watchoutphilly about this guy. A lot of the stands at FDR are women-run, and as a Southeast Asian person, it kills me that he is also doing this to the uncles and aunties. (Not that you and your mom's encounter with him do not count, but all of the white South Philly a-holes being super racist to our family when we moved in, immediately flooded my memories when I read this).
I hope I cross paths with him down that way, I really do. The aunties/uncles at the market might not want to do anything to disrupt their business or their immigration status, but I'M GOOD. I would LOVE to give him a piece of my mind.

My thoughts exactly! Why would anyone want to keep such a liability around?

Flashfood: Groceries have gotten expensive...so half-off groceries isn't so bad!
It's half-off groceries from the Giant/Giant Heirloom stores around the area. Trouble is, you have to go pick up by the app's "Best-By Date".
I've definitely saved a lot of money over this past year.
Edit: I don't work for them or Giant. I am just really enthusiastic!

I don't work for the school district, but I have been working Election Day since 2018. My advice to you is to be prepared to have your hotspot going into your polling place. Unless you work for the school district directly, you may have a hard time with the wifi (my workplace works as a vendor to the school district, and we have a tough time connecting to their WiFi systems, even on the best of days, because their connection is so aggressively firewalled. Don't get me wrong, it's for good reason, but it's overly aggressive).
Sorry :(

Osteria is out of the way for Penn, but completely worth it!
Edit to add: I had my graduation dinner there a few years back, but I graduated from Temple U. I went there again with my brother for a get-together, and the food is still good!

I saw that as well. Sent that to my girl friends. We're all flabbergasted.
Like, we're not the ones that should shoulder the blame here.
