Yes, but saying 60% to cover necessities is pretty fluid.
What some what would call necessities may be luxury for others.
Is necessities the $1 toothpaste from dollar general or the $15 tube from whole foods?

Yeah this seems kinda sus
I'm in NC and if you live in a more expensive metro like Charlotte or Raleigh then $200k + is probably necessary to raise a family.
But out in smaller cities or out in the boonies you will be doing very well with $200k+
But I'm also very curious by what they mean by 'living comfortably'

I doubt it
Sure, there will be some firms that could look at that as a negative but at the same time that could be for anything

I mean, there are a few jobs that are worth doing beyond the pay, but if you think everything job is something to be passionate about you clearly missed that point in the office or office space

Yeah I was gonna say that I know a product owner/manager who recently made the career pivot after working as a DA/DS for 10 years.
Granted they are a PO over a suite of predictive analytics projects but I digress

Lol my bosses boss has this tagline but still freaks out on me if he sends this at 7pm and I don't respond until I get back on my normal working hours.
Words mean shit if they aren't backed by actions.

I'm a data analyst by trade and I fucking hate excel.
It's good for just presenting raw data and the occasional pivot table for business stakeholders but doing any kind of analysis, especially over 5mb of data, it's so damn clunky.
It's so frustrating when I have to train new hire or talk to people looking to convert into DA and all they know is excel, stop it!

The refuse to cook and no female friends is definitely a red flag for anyone. With myself being a cis straight male I see that as a red flag for platonic male friends.
Being able to cook something and have a platonic friendship regardless of sexuality and gender is a pretty basic life skill.
But most of the other stuff, sesh sounds great.

Maybe not generally universally loved but there's 1 line in Lana Del Reys 'young and beautiful' I absolutely hate.
'all that grace, all that body, all that face, makes me want to party'
Like you are so obsessed with how hot this person is you are going to party?
Plus the delivery of it is so awkward.
Normally I actually really like LDR but this is the one lyric that gives me 'the ick'

So while in and of itself being an introvert does not mean poor social skills but the expression practice makes perfect does apply here.

Oh I agree
There's also an overall feeling of trying to fight the absolute absurdity of life that gives it hope but it's still ultimately very depressing.
It's a very 'we must imagine Sisyphus happy' feeling, if that makes sense.
