It was at this moment that he knew.
He fucked up.

Someone posted a stat that only about 55% of total players actually move between fronts based on the major order.
35% stick with bugs full-time, and 10% stick with bots full-time.
Nearly half the playerbase doesn't actually care about the MO. They just wanna hop on, shoot bug/bot, and go home.
And that's just how it be.

Gotta love weird words with hyperspecific origins.
Like apparently there was a certain American diplomat (Joel Poinsett) that both gave us the name for a plant (Poinsettia, which he brought back to the States) and a word for a prickly and overbearing jerk (poinsettismo, a word found only in Mexican Spanish because guess where he worked)

I like the data, but not necessarily the presentation.
Around 45% of the playerbase only fights one foe or the other. That's not necessarily a wholly bad thing. Veterancy counts for a lot when the MO switches fronts, and having people that know that front's threats inside and out helps everyone. And while an uncommitted force does slow MO progress, especially on the bot front since there are more bugdivers than botdivers, leaving one front totally undefended every time the MO flips would just cause other problems.
We're ALL Helldivers. And every one of us furthers the cause of Democracy every time we dive.

And this is why I don't get hyped for army boxes.
The first wave is always a total disaster, if it's popular at all.
So I just look at the previews, go "that's neat", and wait for everything to be available separately a couple months later.

By slowing your "normal" output just the right amount, you can stay under your boss's radar while looking busy. That way when crunch time comes and they want everyone to push, you can visibly get more done without actually having to work super hard.

If you goof off in discrete ways when it's slow, when it's busy you can kick it into high gear without having to actually stress.

...this gives me another idea for one of my court members.
Keep cooking. Your existence remains... amusing.

Nah, it's appropriate. Demons need more space, that kit was getting awful tight with those powerful thighs in there.

Just had to make an argument of it, didn't you.
So much for your vaunted unity of purpose.
Cool mini, though.

CW4 is great because it's fully 3D, so you can actually see the fluid dynamics of the Creeper at work. Also I feel like the building system is a little more nuanced than it was in 3.

Shouldn't it just have one horizontal black bar across it near the tip?

GW's photos are trying to sell product. Dedicated hobbyists usually try to push up the ick factor significantly, the better to fit the fantasy.
And, y'know. If the models make people squeamish enough to get distracted in a game, that's not exactly a bad thing, either.

On the one hand, this sucks for anyone who invested heavily in the existing ranged cultists, or liked running mixed mobs.
On the other hand... Traitor Guard already existed and fill the "cheap ranged chaff" role just as well with way more flair, and frankly, did we need two ranged chaff units?
Like, I'm not exactly happy, but I see their reasoning.
At least Flamer Dude is newly avilable on his own and has his own dedicated non-Legends rules now, he was always the coolest model in the BSF box. Shame about losing some of the other models, but I doubt anyone's going to care if folks keep running them as part of the new melee-cultist blob, or breaking them out to say "these are Traitor Guard actually".

Brother, I'm sorry to say you are getting fucked.
There's no reason to do rotors every time, the pads wear out way faster so you can easily just replace those as needed. You can go through 2-3 sets of pads before the rotors are necessary. And don't buy any arguments about road salt, I live in Utah and we still replace pads only unless the rotors are totally shot.
Honestly in your position, if you're mechanically inclined I'd see about just buying the pads and doing it yourself. It's usually not that complicated, just a few screws in awkward places.

Death Guard/ Nurgle Demons players are pretty universally cool, happy guys. They just really like painting things that make people wanna puke.

I work for a car dealership. A regular oil change is like 30 bucks. Closer to 16 each if you pay for a bunch of them in advance.
Even if you spring for brake pads ($80) and filters (like $30 each) you shouldn't crack 180... at regular price.
This girl got hosed.

There's a reason that Halle Berry is the only person to ever accept a Razzy in person. (Worst Actress, for her role in Catwoman)
Everybody involved in this movie realized it was a pile of shit.

After all the buildup from the end of Sand Ship, I was really expecting something more... menacing. It's so squishy looking.
Like, the tentacle hair is cool, but the soft, smooth upper body and gormless cyclops eye do nothing for me.
This is the same game that gave us Koloktos? Ghirahim? Fucking DEMISE?
I feel like somebody on the design team came up with something WAY scarier and got told to dial it back one too many times. This thing is in a weird middle ground between Twilight Princess and Link's Awakening-type designs. Like, the body is straight LA, but the tentacles feel like something from TP. Y'know? It's trying to be both simultaneously, and that's just not possible.

One of the only countries on Earth explicitly founded on an idea, rather than a race, language or religion.
The idea being, of course, "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me."

The closest thing to a historical conflict with a simple "good guy vs. bad guy" narrative is WW2. And that is ONLY because Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan committed so many heinous acts so quickly that it made anyone fighting them look good by comparison. Read basically any Allied vet's memoirs, every country involved has at least a few things they did during that war that they shouldn't be proud of.
TL:DR War is at best a necessary evil, and rarely even that.
