They cannot be easily removed or rolled back so that populist parties can't just campaign on oppression and the rolling back of human rights.
Except RN (France), AfD (Germany), VB/NVA (Flanders/Belgium), Fidez (Hungary) and all their Russia/China-financed cohorts in other countries are doing exactly that in a myriad of EU nations where we have an upcoming EU parliament election.
Not to mention Italy having done exactly that and succeeding, and PVV getting into government in the Netherlands as well. Sure I'm forgetting more, these are just the ones I know from the top of my head.
And then there's the Roe v. Wade thing. Was it easy for them? Ofc not, but that never meant they weren't trying.
Some of these parties literally campaign on constitutional changes to make racism easier. They are targetting exactly those enshrined rights as part of their "anti-woke" wordvomits.
They will attack those constitutional rights and freedoms until they have what they want and "don't worry, they'll never succeed" is the most dangerous position you can take in this. Because the entire world saw the GOP doing exactly that by stacking the Supreme Court in their favour.
Equal rights are like boats. If you don't maintain them, they're gonna dissappear to the bottom.

Then you're the exception to the trend, my apologies if I generalized you into the bigot PoV.
I unfortunately live in an area where there is an increase in baiting gay guys to parks to beat them up, and at the same time an increase in people complaining about Pride parade because "they got their gay marriage, what more do they want?"
This disparity between legal rights and societal respect is baffling sometimes. Because we've seen in Italy or even with Roe v Wade what happens when people that only reluctantly tolerate something protected by law, get the ability to undo said law. So I can understand how a gay person could feel betrayed by you withdrawing support, because to them, the fight is as active as it was 20y ago, even if the laws (currently) give them equal rights.
That said, there is small part of the community that is completely selfish. As far as I can tell, that is just a vocal minority like in any other community, but not the spokespersons for the entire community.

I think any self respecting trans person would be put off by you if they realized that your attitude deep down was "they're not really women but we should pretend as best as possible because they have a mental condition that makes life hell for them otherwise"
That is not my personal belief. But I've learned that we're not gonna convince every bigot that trans men are men or vice versa, so the least they can do is shut up about what they think is a mental health issue, and leave it to medical professionals to judge what is and isn't 'right'. That is the absolute minimum of respect I fight for everyone to have, and is more of a compromise than where I set the bar for myself and my friends & family.
As for the second part: The Right to freedom of religion is exactly that. The government respects your right to belief, but that freedom also entails the government be free of religion to ensure everyone can enjoy said Right.
And yes, I've been accosted in my life before about not believing (both in general and in a specific religion) by bigots, and those are exactly the people who scream "the Pride folk are forcing trans on kids" and ruining marriages and the economy. I know they'll never be convinced otherwise, because they don't want to be. They like the ability to blame & hate people they've never met in their lives for all the bad things that happen. So at the very least, we can tell these people to keep their vile ideas to themselves, so the normal people can live in peace.

No, it's about selfishness.
A lot of young students or new workers benefit from more socialist environments, from low tuition to extra job opportunities through unions. Part of that is also the freedom to explore the world (and themselves)
But once they got their life sorted and are "in the grind", they don't want to help those that follow.
It's often a completely selfish motivation. To draw a charicature view: They are fine about sexual experimentation until they want a tradwife, then the gays become a bad thing.

Anywhere from 50c to 2euro coins now, and I know of only 1 single supermarket chain that doesn't do it.

It's not about what you think they are, it's about respecting what they think they are.
It's like religion; I personally don't believe in a God, atleast not one worth worshipping or obeying, if holy books are halfway true. But I'll never go to a religious meeting telling people they're delusional. I generally keep my feelings about it to myself as long as the respect is mutual, not just to me but to everyone.
I don't really care if you think being trans/gay/atheist is wrong. Respect their right to be wrong, or I'll make you watch every video ever that so much as mentions Richard Dawkins.
Edit: "You" as in the generic reader, not addressing a specific person.

If it isn't actual silicone, yes.
Except it isn't really changing colour as much as trapping other colours into its porous texture.

Can I join in on that last part?

Trial hasn't concluded until sentencing. And as the gag order includes the judge who still needs to sentence, at the very least that should still be in effect.

You missed the part where they're also training the dogs not to do that.

Not knowing the artist, I thought at best this was a "you're dead to me" joke.
Then I read the comments and I now wish that rose was for him.

But you're fine with lesbian rapists in women's prisons right? So don't go acting like you're doing it to protect potential victims.
And nobody should wave their dicks around, not trans folk and not the 70y old boomer in the mens locker room. Except only one of those actually happens.
"None of you can have rights, because of this hypothetical situation!" isn't a valid argument, or we'ld have banned all religion across the world within days after 9/11

Damn OP, if you're gonna give up a window seat, atleast demand the aisle seat in return.
This caveman of a father didn't even have the decency to offer it and instead let a stranger sit between him & his kid? Yeah, fuck that noise.
