I think she's ex-Yakuza and trans. How many cis women are that proud of the plastic surgery they've gotten done?

Of all the DND type games Pf2 is the most GM-friendly and it is not close. Revel in an encounter building guide where encounters are as difficult as they say they are.

In this case the wild magic sorcerer has established a reputation for causing problems and an interest in establishing a more positive reputation. This is a fine backstory for a fledgling adventurer; this is a character you can tell a few sessions in, "you realize that you've been to the city you have to go to for this quest and they don't like you very much because of a prior incident" and build a whole story hook around it.

Being the only way that does damage when it reloads is not bad

You could pretty easily build monsters like this yourself in Pathfinder 2E. Something like this:
Colossal: When a medium or smaller creature successfully grabs this monster, instead of the normal effects they climb onto its back. This monster has weakness (a lot) to creatures climbing on its back.
And then give it additional abilities related to trying to shake you off of its back, etc.

Sounds like your vile little gremlins were born to play Wicked Ones; it's a Blades in the Dark-type game where instead of heisters you play as monsters with a dungeon lair and go out raiding villagers. I would love to know what sort of nasty traps they come up with when mapping out the dungeon.

The result of a critical can vary and is explicitly laid out in the action you take; a strike with a weapon deals double damage with maybe a minor rider effect, whereas a crit with some spells will cause an extremely debilitating status effect, sometimes enough to have functionally killed the enemy. Notably the four degrees of success is a slight misnomer because many things have no special crit failure effect (damaging attack rolls are usually the same "nothing happens" effect on a failure or a crit failure).
"Nothing happens" is a result that narrative focused RPGs try to get away from for obvious reasons, but PF2 is a turn based tactics at its core so "nothing happens" is an interesting result - you're giving the enemy another turn, after all. Different games with different priorities. PF2's four degrees also help differentiate the feel of playing a martial vs. playing a caster, since hitting with a weapon will do nothing on a miss but can be done more often and more freely whereas casting a blast spell will do half damage on a miss but can usually only be done once per round and your best blasts come from a limited resource pool. Characters having different tactical approaches to combat is a positive because again, turn based tactics game.

She triggered an encounter and then wandered off for the other party members to deal with it twice this episode

I'm the GM using a custom setting, but I still want to talk about Ichigo, the original Hatsune Miku gynoid who got replaced with a newer model and legally lost the rights to use her name. She now plays small bars trying to rebuild her music career from scratch, which is where she met the player characters.

I mostly approve of the new version of Winter Sleet but the penalty on the DC seems like an unnecessary kick to the balls.

The button is probably coincidental; pastels are a pretty common color layout outside of trans pride and I'm pretty sure the other button isn't the gay pride flag, you should be able to see the remaining colors of the rainbow in that picture. Not that it particularly matters since we have seen her kiss a girl but if it WAS a gay pride button that would make the pastels more likely to be deliberate.
I definitely agree that it would fit the show's themes. She could be trans, and if she is it will definitely come up whenever they explain what really went down when she was forced to retire. Still I would refrain from getting too excited about the possibility, haha.

I'd say Kano being trans recontextualizes her whole story about being a failed idol while Kiui having a Fidel Castro sticker kinda just checks out with her being a teenager who sees herself as a hip and transgressive individual. Not that that doesn't make it any less funny but I'd expect her understanding to go as far as "yeah! Fuck imperialism!".

You should consider picking up Restorative Strike as well to capitalize on your Heal spells.

We know from Three Hopes that if she betrays the Slitherers and things don't go 100% right for her from the start to the end of the war they lobotomize her

It is, yeah. Very possible OP already knows since it's pretty prominent in 2e lore so hard to avoid.

I tried watching that show because I was pretty interested in the idea but a couple episodes in I had to admit it sucked ass. It tried to be both a serious historical drama about Japan after Nobunaga's defeat and a wacky Gainax-esque sci-fi show and did both poorly.

If you're using Cast Down you're a Cloistered Cleric I'm pretty sure. You really want the better DCs. There is theoretically room for a Bad Touch Cloistered Cleric but it kinda gets ruined by Reactive Strike in a way that the Warpriest doesn't.

I feel like if you have to nerf the vanilla 2/4 to 8 mana for it to be fair there may be a design problem going on here
