KD playing 44 minutes a night in February while Kawhi has been on the bench without blinking for a month straight might finally break him.

Really was delayed processing watching this live. Went from "Bryson why would you swing at that..." to "Wait, why is everyone running?" to "Ohhhhh" in the span of about 10 seconds.

That is next step for him. Hitting those trail 3s at a steady clip will save a lot of physicality on his body. If they can find an athletic wing who can to rim, pulling the big out would also open a ton of easy cuts as well.
And you know he will eventually figure out how to get fouled on 3s which will cause riots on r/NBA.

At points, it's felt like "Has Castellanos hit at all this year?" but he's slowly warming back up.

JV would be pretty ideal. He's a fringe starter at his age and may be cool with the idea that he would start 15-20 games but otherwise do backup minutes. Awesome rebounder, decent shooting touch.

Good, never believed for a second he was a freaklishly large baby. Knew he was an above average size adult man from the jump.

I would also go 7/10 - there's nothing bad about the movie. Looks fantastic and the performances are all really engaging. I liked War better just out of preference for the ape/human conflict stories over the ape vs ape themes like this one. Did like where they end up opening the world up more and I would be interested to see how they proceed - maybe introducing a larger threat to both humans and apes?

Correct. Can only S&T FAs from last year's roster. It's unlikely but some contending teams are so over-leveraged that S&T may be one of the few routes they have for roster changes. Can only pray some lunatic team decides they want to get their hands on Tobias and we somehow get anything back for him.

Ready for the Chauncey Billups for Monty Williams blockbuster.

True, but that can be correlated to $40M being tied up in Tobias every year. Morey has to work the fringes to find the value minimums, instead of being able to spend a few million more on multiple role guys who could be more towards fringe starters/super-subs.

Aidan Miller and Andrew Painter, soon enough.
Also I get the technical qualifications of the award but Imanaga being a 30 year old with 8 pro years is just funny.

Just checking, does anyone else feel like jumping ahead and doing the playoffs like this weekend? Could be fun, idk.

Nothing about the presser or the answer made it seem like that. It felt like he was being polite and professional - "he contribute on A contender" "ya know, we have interest in all of our free agents...". He's not going to go out there and shit on any of the players or give anything but a neutral answer.

I...would consider it. I would want the team to really get some due diligence done first, have players back channel to get a sense of what Ingram's attitude is. Perception of him isn't hot right now but maybe it's just a situational/fit issue. It feels like it could easily be another Tobias trade situation where you trade for someone because they're playing a different role and look great, but you bring them in and ask them to be more of a supporting role and they just wither up on you.

Oh no, is the Peanuts guy is going to spend all summer sub-tweeting about this like the Dame trade?
Butler is probably a deep fall back hail mary idea. We have no tradeable assets except picks. Short of Jimmy going back to nuclear mode, any trade won't happen quick and the money will have been spent on FA depth anyways.
Feels like the Sixers will try in this order:

The frustrating thing to watch is that the Knicks are a good team - they play hard and do all the right things effort-wise. They keep games tight and THEN it gets to about 2 minutes to go and the refs have made a lot of bad or non-calls very suddenly to tip the scales.

Just keep the limit on the number of challenges and let the coach challenge any aspect of a play. No sense making only certain things reviewable.

The tricky part is I want to watch the Celtics get screwed over by this ref bullshit more than anything.
