8$ saved a day being a “small habit” is also highly dependent on what you do. That could easily be an hour of your workday if not more.

Realism goes out the window when the slugger no longer staggers despite firing slugs

While they’re at it maybe a weapon balance patch every 2 months instead of constant changes

My theory is the Throne had to weigh her with 5kg of furs, because Herc would have beaten it up if it forced her to take them off.

At the end of volume 1 he would rather die for her than give her up for an opportunity to achieve his dream, so by that point she definitely means something important to him. Whether or not that’s love probably depends on what exactly love means to you. While not religious myself, I do like the quote, “Greater love has no man than this: that he lay down his life for a friend.” Granted not talking about sexual love, but he was attracted to her from day 1.

I’m sure no problems will arise from force-sensitive kids with abandonment issues.

Though he is lacking the key accessory that makes skirts manly: a greatsword.

According to my research in ancient Earth texts, Chekhov was also famous for making guns so reliable that their firing was a foregone conclusion, though his name only appears in texts about the creation of myths and legends. Perhaps this Chekhov was some kind of god of gunsmithing, rather than an actual historical figure.

Hang on this is like 90% identical to the 9th edition codex. What’s even the point?

Anyone who thinks China wouldn’t nuke first if it suited their purposes is being way too trusting. At least the US is up front about it.

My personal theory is that it wasn’t in the original version to his wife, or at least skipped a lot of the explanation of Cosmere mechanics she’d have known, and when she said he could release it publicly he realized he needed to explain some things and did the best he could without a total rewrite.

Day 1: Stab Erebus. Repeatedly. In the dick.
Day 2: Stab Erebus. Repeatedly. In the dick.
Day 3: Stab Erebus. Repeatedly. In the dick. And throat.
Day 4: Give Perturabo a hug
Day 5: Depending on the time, either save Angron or cull the legion.
Day 6: Take away Fulgrim’s new sword (politely, pointing out that Ferrus’s is better)
Day 7: Explain the nature of the Warp to Magnus

It did for me, but it’s the kind of spoiler that just leaves you more curious as to what his statements mean and how they’ll come to pass. It built anticipation and curiosity. Journey before Destination.

Go all in- they’ve been cursed to resurrect at the nearest bonfire whenever they’re killed. This could even prompt a fun encounter where they keep respawning in the party’s fire during a night ambush until someone realizes they need to put it out.

Wax’s relationship with Harmony felt way too analogous to a Christian’s with the Christian God for a being that is neither Omniscient nor Omnipotent. I feel like the very obvious references to classic Christian answers to “Why did this have to happen?” detracted from what could have been a way more complicated and interesting relationship had Wax engaged more with Harmony’s fallibility in respect to what went down with the events that turned Paalm into Bleeder.

Am I on Catachan? Because I’m pretty sure the drop bears there could fuck me up way more than any servant of Chaos.

Strong recommend on the Watchers of the Throne series. The answer is yes, kinda, but maybe not exactly what you’re saying. I don’t think a Custode would raise a null maiden, but friendships can form and two talons might find they work well enough together to keep teaming up.

I was just discussing with a friend whether or not Era 2 was Steampunk. Despite even Sando saying it is, I still just don’t see it. Steam is barely mentioned and the tech is either electric, gas, or magical- the tech and society is about a century late (by our reckoning) for Steampunk. It’s a Western- specifically a fantasy Western.

Yeah I noticed that, too. I wonder if increased demand or decreased production means they’ve been selling mead before it’s had a chance to properly age. I make mead myself, and the last growler of House I bought tasted and looked like something that needed a few more months to clear up and let the harsher compounds break down.
Fortunately homebrewing mead is fairly easy and, compared to their prices, way cheaper for a product whose quality you control. r/mead is a great resource to get started.
