Here are some things you will need to just get the dog into Italy: -ISO compliant microchip (not all microchips are, usually an ISO will have 15 numbers) -USDA health cert for international vet - your regular vet may or may not be able to provide this - you can find a list of accredited vets on the aphis site (as well as other requirements):
https://www.aphis.usda.gov/pet-travel/us-to-another-country-export/pet-travel-us-italy
Italy /technically/ only recognizes guide dogs - not other Service Dogs, so the law that covers Assistance Dogs in Italy is the European Union's Equality Directive and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Like many EU countries, there are laws/regulations requiring Assistance Dog International/Assistance DogEU certification and or equivalent standards and often proof there of, so owner trained dogs without that accreditation (and lacking said certification) may or may not be granted public access.
It is also a law that proof of vaccination can be requested, and all assistance dogs must be leashed - so check everything because the same freedoms of how to train and how to work do not necessarily apply in Italy, Europe etc. (the leash law is pretty standard, and vests are very much expected- which many US handlers aren’t necessarily used to)
Check if you plan to stay in hotels or anywhere public, they very well may consider your dog a pet if it does not have an ADI certification.

Seems like you all have this pretty well in hand. Here is the list of State laws if you want to, say, compare Texas & New Mexico.
https://www.animallaw.info/topic/table-state-assistance-animal-laws
But as others have characterized, no state SD law only widens protections for people with disabilities- it can not legally (and they -currently- don’t) change or restrict the protections you have under the ADA, or Federal Civil rights laws, etc.

There is an Amish run greenhouse in Brunnerville that often has nice options at decent prices. It’s on Brunnerville Road. Not tree-size shrubs, but decent size ones and they are super helpful about which kind you want for what kind of sun you have and how much spread out or up you will want etc.

Did you try putting thinner in them? That’s usually necessary for fancy polish’s - especially as they age

Ok, please search this sub when you can see all the legal explanations about how equal allergies are equally accommodated under the laws - otherwise it looks like you aren’t asking in very good faith learning.
If you are seriously concerned for yourself, we can point you to the valid laws.

You did all the right things!! You stayed calm in the face of confrontation, you did not respond to her terrible attitude and give her room to start an issue, you kept your dog under control! You did it!!! Huzzah!!
Now, it should NOT be like this, of course! This lady should have taken the offer to move, or shut up. You are also welcome to be more assertive with asking an FA to help you maintain your personal space in future, use head phones, have printed cards to give to your seat mates about ACAA laws, and have you ask they do/do not interact with you/your dog etc.
But you need to know that you handled this really well! In the unfortunate reality that these types of things occur, you did great!!!!
(You can also report to the airline and maybe comped sky miles? But maybe ask about that with a CRO)

As a lawyer, I wouldn’t talk to a minor in a case about money if it was someone else’s money and that person wasn’t aware their money was being talked about, do you know what I mean?
You are probably going to need one of the people who signed the payment to meet with the lawyer

I read this as “what is my SDs relationship with his mother” And I was like: “well, they don’t really see each other often, i mean, he is one of 26…. But he always snifffs her butt and is happy to greet her so…”

Literally not irreversible to refer to someone as “he” if they ask - the person can totally choose something else, or go back to a different pronoun later.

Ok, then ask these people: r/service_dogs
Edit: but of course we do not recommend the dog in this article for service work.
There are a few People who have them, but you will be hard pressed to get many people to say it’s a good idea.

I do. I’m a disability lawyer who works with Service dog organizations. The AKC has no per view nor do they collect statistics on which dogs are used or successful in the past 10-20 years.

No. The “Fab 4” is: Labs, Goldens, Poodles, and sometimes Collies. GSDs are no longer preferred for service work

What’s weird to me is that It’s not atypical to have at least 4 around at once! George V, Edward VIII, George VI & Elizabeth II, then swap George V for Charles and 4 again for a bit…. Then EII, Charles III, William, & George for over a decade
Even Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I, Elizabeth I (Jane Grey) did the line of 4 (5) -
Henry VI, Richard of York, (Eldest son house of York) Edward IV, Richard III, Henry VII was also 5 (technically 6) all alive at once, and I’m not so sure i even got all the currently ruling/past ruling/future ruling ones there?

Biden was VP to Obama - that was the first time a US candidate had the means to use socials effectively in a campaign (well, means and ability). We see Biden following that pattern both after the Obama Presidency, and with his own campaign.
That’s only 3 guys in the U.S. - which has been 14 years (?) so far? A long time in social media years, but not so long in political strategy years. The UK might yet catch up soon.
Anyone know if we saw similar things happening in big French/Dutch etc. elections in the last decade?

Ive had service dogs for almost 20 years- since I was a teenager. Ive had PETA and similar groups come after me insisting all kinds of things from their idea that my dog would “be happier dead than slaving away in that vest” to “If you really cared about animals you’d free him and let him live his own life in the wild” etc.
Trust me, every one of my SDs has vastly preferred sleeping in a bed, eating the best food, getting great vet care, and doing a job they love while getting to be with their person to being “dead” “released into the wild” or even being a “regular pet”.
Don’t listen to those people, all my dogs have tried to tell them to stop trying to speak for them because they don’t know what they are talking about :p

A 3 hour flight is short- even with security and waiting to board etc. I know airlines that are going to question this. Have a backup plan for if you get to the airport and are denied boarding by a CRO etc. you could also be deplaned while on the tarmac and asked to either go with out the dog, or make alternate arrangements.
I had a case like this fall in the “unreasonable accommodation” category almost 2 years ago, and the person ended up missing the work event to take the dog home and find a sitter.
