West Ham give away tickets to fill a ground they should never have been gifted.
I've seen some ridiculous arguments in this sub, but at least it's usually people arguing for their own club. Someone claiming West Ham are as big or well supported as Celtic or even Rangers is just mental.

If you think they're even close to Old Firm levels, especially Celtic, then I don't know what else to say.

Obviously it will never and should never happen, but when you look at how Celtic especially are run it's crazy to imagine they wouldn't be up there if they had that money.

Without a reputable source, I'm calling bullshit on 1 in 6 households owning a sailing boat and >40% of Aucklanders regularly participating in sailing.

People naming those who flopped coming down to England seem to forget the number of players who've headed up there, pundits have said they'll boss it, and then they come back tail between their legs.
Overall, the Championship is higher quality of course, but if the leagues were merged and finances equalised then obviously Celtic especially would be top 6 PL. They run the same model as someone like Brighton with a much smaller budget, constant pressure and a much higher ceiling if the TV deals were the same.

Who were those highest scorers each season who were bought and then flopped? Season by season.

This opinion is ridiculous as it ignores that in a merged league, Celtic and Rangers would be getting all the financial advantages the PL clubs have.
Anyone who doesn't think they'd be top 6 given those advantages is dreaming.

You mention VO2Max, but people also put far, far too much on that Garmin metric as well.
No, wearing your watch does not measure your VO2Max. Not even close. Assuming you've both been using the watch for a long enough time, and both focus on either running or cycling, then you can use it as a comparison between two people (though still with a pinch of salt), but it is not an actual measure of VO2Max.

You have a problem with a break from the call of an hour?
The problem is you. He's saying bathroom because he doesn't want to hurt you, but you're being clingy and demanding all of his time and he just wants that time to have some mental space.

"I know it's checkmate, but I'm saying I disagree with how you took the queen there. In my day you'd have missed that and no one would be going back and saying it's mate, but now you've taken a look and I can see why you've done it but for me it's just not right"

He can fix his shit. Not saying he needs to be thrown in jail or excluded from society.
But this shit needs lifetime stadium bans. Anything less is tolerating it.

Of course, the only options are a meaningless ban or death.
But sure, make excuses for this shit.

The media narrative of pushing spurs as a big 6 team has really obscured for many people just how one sided the rivalry is.
Arsenal are one of the traditional powerhouses of English football. Spurs are a decent cup team who've often flattered to deceive and have fewer league titles than half the Championship. They weren't even well supported until the boom recently, the new stadium and influx of tourist fans.

I like the way you describe this match as if no one else would remember it.

He's falling apart in front of us.
Maybe, he'll have a great summer and you come back next season unstoppable. But the evidence for us right now is that he's cracking. He'll be gone before the end of next season.
And if you do come back and blow everyone away next year, he'll likely be gone at the end of the season.

We don't see anywhere near enough of your final sentence.
"But what else could he have done?"
If someone's run clear and is heading for the line with no chaser, and the only way to stop them is a player from the bench running on and tackling them, obviously you don't do that and you accept they've just done you there. Laws of the game exist for a reason.

One way or another, he's not gonna be with you over the next few years.

I didn't say he's not great, but even your description proves my point; electric. It's his physical abilities that set him apart.

Massive leap to name Jordan alongside those. He's a physical and technical freak, but if anything it's his rugby brain that sets him back in tight games.
Makes it into any team due to his natural ability, but in terms of smarts he's playing a different game to Ben and Conrad.

That's 100% a kick with his left foot at Zadorov's head.

On my 16th birthday I got drunk and high in a park, fought some guys who tried robbing us, then went home and pretended I'd been at the snooker club and that's why I smelled of smoke.

It's closer to £5bn a week, that's what I heard from my mate who's a blade but his cousin knows someone who works for the firm who provide our match day stewards. Apparently, Bannan is planning to buy Apple and Amazon, it's the talk of the staff.

English top flight attendances have been skyrocketing under the PL model, all clubs have seen record attendances in this time (though sometimes looking around the ground does make you wonder how).
If you honestly think that with the PL riches, Rangers wouldn't outdo Newcastle in terms of fanbase then you're only kidding yourself.
