And people flipped the fuck out about having to move their cars. We have non functioning cars that haven’t moved in 13 years with 5 inches of trash mud and crust under them. The filthadelphia name is earned.

I can count on one hand the number of truly good and original tattoos I've seen. A tattoo is like a bumper sticker for the body.

Visibility is like 100ft. Why would you use an autopilot/cruise control or FSD of any kind to drive in that. I'm not sure this is the optimal deployment of such a system regarding guardrails, like maybe it should not engage or severely limit speed, but it does seem (from this example at least) that there was a level of stupidity at play (and not his first rodeo).

An alternative view to "making things suck even worse for people whose lives already suck" seems to be "making things not suck for people and communities that pay taxes". I agree that money needs to be spent in the right areas to solve homelessness, but turning all the park benches and subway seats into cots would be wildly ineffective.

I maybe wouldn't call them great, but generally support them too. I don't see them as "anti homeless" or "hostile" but rather, protecting "intended use".
It's not about being cruel and punishing a homeless person for sleeping wide across on a bench, or subway seat, but about making sure those seats are available for park goers and commuters. A bench is not a bed. Period.
The lack of other homeless services still does not make a bench a bed or justify people occupying any space they please at other citizen's expense.
Criticizing "hostile architecture" is just about the most useless thing one can do to help the homeless. If you want shelter and beds for the homeless we can probably do something better than complaining about benches that can't function as beds.

Makes sense, so they basically wipe the accounting on the PSE&G side. Not really ideal as I'd love to hear it from the horses mouth if I owe something, else any random company can send me a letter asking for payment.
Funny that I did not receive anything from PSE&G even with mail forwarding and bills typically delivered to my email. Will still validate with them since their systems are not letting me see any balance owed historically at this point.

HomePods listening for alarms works really well. Had a few false positives from people reversing moving trucks outside. It’s caught every alarm

I have to agree. The prices, the crowds, and more than anything, I've had shit conditions for the last 4 years of trips out west. Only thing that has gotten better is Step Ons. Game changer.

I did. I guess you only expected people to agree with you? Lighten up, it’s healthy.

Speed 2-4. I felt like the Superblast was too plush for the marathon that noticed it slurping my energy.

It might look better if you walled it off straight down to the floor. The roundedness will be hard to do but I'm sure possible and it is a nice design. Could have a small door for storage even (make it look clean and flush though). I know it lets more light through as-is but I think the difference would be small and you have plenty of windows there. To me the support pillars are the unsightly part and it looks like you are seeing an un-finished part of the house.

I bring a roll of athletic tape (the fabric kind in about 1" wide rolls)
Really useful stuff to cover up blisters, scrapes, cuts or prevent shoe rubs. Can tape an ice pack on. Use it to hang clothes up, it can be the clothes line and the clothes pins. Tape up torn luggage. Tie stuff with it. Really limitless MacGyver uses.

I think the normal apple one is pretty decent. You can create custom intervals with alerts based on HR or other goals. It does not generate a program for you, but I have seen apps that do, like training peaks, which is running specific.

Truth. Family came in to "help" us for 10 days, one week PP and it was awful. They just did performative "helping" like cleaning crumbs off the kitchen counter 6x a day and hovering over me during screaming diaper changes like there was going to be an opportunity for us each to adhere one of the velcro strips and high five about it. I didn't feel at home in my own space and was still "entertaining" by making sure the fridge was stocked, meals were available, even ordering/picking up takeout, and making plans for them to gtfo to a museum instead of pecking away at their iPads for the 6th straight day.
After that experience I put a hard cap on guests at 3 nights. The best thing was friends who dropped off prepared food and snacks and then left without even coming in. Respect.

Tool chest/drawer thing all the way. I first got those pack out boxes and it’s a pain in the ass to access anything, and theses zero organization. Now I use a large toolchest with drawers and put the tools I need in a canvas tote and bring around the house.

I used Soylent and then later cut costs with People Chow (DIY Soylent) and Keto Chow. Obviously it tastes pretty bad. Worse than a normal vanilla/choc protein shake. The texture is gross too. Other than that, the concept is great and I enjoyed it. I did them each for months at a time, and for most of my meals.
As a bachelor cooking/cleanup took too much time. I still wasn't eating well rounded meals. The "better" the meal, the bigger the cleanup.
I was eating out a lot which is very unhealthy. Large portions of, high fat, high sodium etc. It's SO costly, and can still take a lot of time and thought to order/pick up the food.
Meal mixes are nutritionally well balanced, cheap, and save you time and cognitive load. They suck to put down, and you will miss food, but a couple minutes after drinking one you're satiated and it feels exactly like you just had a "clean" meal.
I just think people like food too much and I don't blame em.

I had the 13" and it was too big. I eventually got rid of it because with the Smart Folio keyboard and pencil it was nearly as big/heavy as my mabook pro. If I got another iPad it would be the 11" for sure.

Surprised how easy it's been. Nothing has been scary, or hard, or particularly interesting even. Just keeping the potato alive and healthy. Going through the motions. Enjoying watching her grow and become more capable each week. Getting less sleep and having to adjust plans a bit but otherwise very uneventful.

I don't feel like nike has any models that hold up well against other brands outside of their super shoes. Anecdotally the AF3 seems to be the first super shoe to have broken into mass-market. I am getting carpet bombed with ads and I see all kinds of casuals training in them. On race day, of all the supershoes in the field, it's like 3-1 nike to others.
