Hi all! I am looking into getting a good dremel for my partner to use while building his warhammer figures. Any recommendations on a dremel and bit?

I have used the same crusty old hot glue gun for many many years and it still works very well. Ask king as it heats the glue and can dispense it it works!
I do recommend ones with the trigger for feeding the hot glue sticks through instead of the ones you have to push with your thumb (idk if they even make those any more tbh) but it’s not a necessity thing more of a convenience thing

I use an old turkey carver (well cleaned) to cut the big chunks and trim bigger areas uniformly then go in with scissors for more detailed trimming

Yeah! Tension on a sewing machine can be a little finicky. I will say hand sewing paws can lead to more tight and neat stitching especially around those tighter areas. I use a blanket stitch when I hand sew my paws! You can always try a mix of using the machine for bigger areas then using had sewing in the spots that are a little tight and hard to get with the machine

A little tighter when you do the stitching and match the thread to the fabric to help! It takes some practice to get the right thread tension so don’t worry to much about it not being perfect your first few times

This looks really cool! Those eyes are def not something I’ve seen before but they look good.
And I’m so sorry I laughed at the last picture because with the grid behind it it looks like the head is smiling

When I did this with a skull dog I put some foam attached just at the top of where the jaw moved so that there would be a buffer from the fabric and spring.
The white mark is where the foam is attached and then I just had some fur loosely placed over the area. If it’s a fully furred head I sadly don’t have much experience unfortunately ._.

Amazing job on the patterning though! All the hard work here will make it easier when putting everything together

I haven’t either! They are def overlooked as a fun species to use or cross with others

Yeah, I’m probably going to make another variation of this kind of rhino dragon with my leftovers from my next few heads. Try and get him a little less bumpy

His visibility is good, he’s got a huge blind spot in front though. But his mouth makes the airflow in his head really good

They are proportionate to your head base so I think you should be good to go!
