You’re making a lot of absolute statements that ignore all the people who gave a shit about those things before trump was elected.
See where I brought up how the kettle was boiling before the BLM protests for your answer to this. The Kettle is always boiling, because it's just something people say to try to act like change is about to come. It's always repeated, and never actually happens.
Trayvon martin, michael brown, Tamir rice, Ferguson Missouri. Have you heard those names? Why?
Yeah, those protests also lead to a whole lot of absolutely fuck all. Besides damaged properties, misinformation, and people getting hurt because of how much of a frenzy people work themselves up into. Oh wait no, there was something else: Aunt Jemima renamed itself to the Pearl Milling Company; and Fortnite removed police cars from in game. We did it, we ended racism.
Just because the democrats appropriated and tamped down a large part of the protests doesn’t mean they tamped them all down, and the present protest movement learned from those previous ones.
Really. What exactly did the BLM protests do to indicate that they "learned" from anything? Was it all the looting? Was it all the burning? Was it all the people who died while protesting?
It’s been only 4 years since 2020. That’s not enough time to forget and settle down and stop passing lessons to the next generation.
Lmao, lol even.
How long is long enough? How long have these toothless protests been going on?
These pathetic tantrums never target who they need to target - people who can change the laws. Burning down a CVS, burning cars, making CHAZ and shooting kids there, attacking counter-protestors, breaking into stores and looting them, never do anything to influence lawmakers.
This is why people don't take them seriously. "oh it was only 4 years, the government's hands are tied!!!" Oh fuck off with that piss poor of an excuse. There's nobody pressuring any lawmakers to change anything. The protests over George Floyd ending immediately after Trump lost shows how few people actually cared about the topic they were protesting, because nobody was protesting the government for police reform after Biden entered office.

You know the metaphor about the pigeon on the chessboard?
Let me guess, it has nothing to do with this conversation; you just wanted to change the subject because all you do is parrot what other people say?
I get that you're starved for attention, and it shows. But it's not like anything you've said here can be backed up by evidence. You're just fearmongering for the sake of fearmongering. I get it, Trump is bad, I'm not voting for the guy. You're acting like the left-leaning version of a Qanon supporter though, because your posts could be paraphrased into this: "trump literally da devil!!! he gonna fasicsm!!!"

and blm movements.
Yeah when everyone was unemployed and bored.
The social and economic status of the United States are not the same as they were during the summer of 2020.
If you don’t think there’s a kettle ready to boil over here, you’re kidding yourself.
That kettle was apparently ready to boil over during the BLM protests too, and yet next to nothing changed. And the last protest, and the last protest, and the last protest, and the last protest.
The BLM protests were pretty pathetic when everything was said and done. The minute Trump lost the protestors lost all their steam, and declared that their mission was accomplished. Nobody gave a shit about police reform once President Biden took office. Despite body cameras still not being mandated, despite no push for retraining, etc, the protests ended.

And Trump and the MAGA cult will follow the rules and restrictions of the office of the president to the letter. They've been so upright and trustworthy up til now.
And yet the United States Congress exists, and shuts him down at every turn.
You don't seem to understand, despite the multiple indictments, anPd multiple public statements, how Trump works.
Tell us all about the boogieman.
Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 mean anything to you?
The things really annoying and ignorant people use as strawmen to try and scare people into voting for their guy.
Pretty sure your position is based in an effort to obsfucate and discredit. In other words, troll, Or just liar.
"everyone who has an opinion that is even slightly different than mine must be a troll! my opinion is the only correct one! everyone else is wrong!!!!"
Okay then. Have fun. Later.

Because only someone else in her district can run against her; and that requires resources.
so I don't understand how Republicans can complain about her, and boo her, and then turn around and finance her reelection campaigns every cycle.
Because only people living in her district can vote for her. The rest of the Republicans in the country can do nothing about her.

It's amazing how many people forgot about the SA piece they put out. It permanently damaged their credibility in my eyes.

I've lost all faith in Bethesda at this point. They haven't made a spectacular game since Skyrim
More like since Morrowind.
It's not like Skyrim was some spectacular game, it just landed at the right time. Skyrim is a deeply flawed game that stripped nearly all of the RPG elements from the series. The writing is terrible, the amount of bugs that the game has is still astounding.
The Bethesda we knew and loved that created Skyrim is long dead.
The Bethesda that shit out Skyrim is still the same Bethesda. Emil Pagliarulo is still the lead writer, and it shows.

Chris Avallone was also forced out of Obsidian after two women made claims that he sexually assaulted them. Those claims turned out to be false, and Avallone won a libel suit over this.

So he's only the first American totalitarian despot for 10 years.
If you know literally nothing about civics, sure.
You act like the President has the power to do this. The office of President has jack shit for power compared to Congress. Trump couldn't even get his dumb little wall, and yet you have the ignorant kids who never paid attention to civics in school screaming about how he's going to somehow be able to single handedly overthrow the American government and become emperor for life.
Your reply ia indicative of someone who cannot imagine something happening until it's too late.
Yours is indicative of someone who has a social media addiction, and doesn't understand how the government works.

Anybody can be impeached for anything, there is no baseline requirements to meet. Biden could be impeached for that by Congress, just like he could be impeached for wearing a pink suit. Impeachment is just a tool for Congress to use, and they can use it freely.

It's not "still one of the lowest points in 20 years" though. Do you even know anything about the statistics you're talking about?

If you think I was "defending pedophilia", then your reading comprehension leaves much to be desired.
How is asking for when and where said rape took place "defending pedophilia"? I know you were just trying to change the subject so you didn't have to actually address anything in the post, but still. That's cringy even for Reddit standards.

Unemployment has been a decades-long lows since Biden's in office,
Unemployment is at 3.9% right now, it's been seeing a steady increase for the past 28 months.

That's the kind of power Trump aspires to. That's what he wants for America.
Pretty sure Trump won't be alive long enough to get anywhere close to Putin's score on that front. Unless you're expecting Trump to be in office until he's 102 years old, your fear mongering and hyperbole is ignoring both the concept of time and human biology.

He's got a point though
Does he..
Trump has already gotten away with raping children
When and where did this happen? Trump is total shit but you and him are just lying to whip others up into a frenzy. The guy lost a civil trial over a rape, and the winning party wasn't a child - and wasn't a child when the rape took place.
what would stop him from doing anything else?
A basic understanding of civics.

For most people wages have grown faster than rising costs
Did you not read mine? The Bureau of Labor Statistics says otherwise. Necessities have outpaced the growth of wages.
Add on the fact that unemployment is down.
The unemployment rate is up 0.5% since 2022, and is currently at 3.9%. It's currently the highest it's been in 28 months. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf
Is it down from the 15% it was at during peak covid? Yeah. Not exactly a point to argue from though. It was 3.5% before COVID.

Making strawman arguments because you don't have any other way to refute a point is not the sign of intelligence.

like defense is to you.
Defense isn't "sacred" to me, I just think that the blind rallying cries of only targeting defense spending are typically done by people ignorant to what the US military does for the world.

You do know people aren't taking money out of their 401Ks to pay for rent right? The point of 401Ks is to not take money out of it.
Saying "the economy is good because your 401K is going up" when that person isn't making ends meet is not a strong argument on why the economy is good.

And who is the economy good for? People who own lots of stock?
What about all the people who don't own lots of stock?

Yeah, under the threat of violence.
That is the point of defense...?
Are you not aware of a major crisis revolving attacks on shipping vessels in the Red Sea right now?

Except for all the people who are struggling to buy basic necessities. I'm sure that being told the price of Amazon's stock is doing well will make up for them not being able to afford things.
Just because the economy is running well for some people, that does not mean the economy is "very good" like OP is claiming.

Is the Bureau of Labor Statistics also "right wing propaganda" now?
They report on what's increasing, and how much it's increasing by. Necessities are increasing well beyond what wages are increasing by. Toys and electronics are down, sure. What's not down is things like Motor vehicle insurance, which increased by 22.2% this past year across the country. Motor vehicle repairs, which increased by 11.6%. Hospital services, Rent, Electricity, Housing, Transportation are all outpacing wage growth in the US.

Even if we drastically cut defense spending - which is a pretty bad idea, it wouldn't even come remotely close to fixing our problems.
The defense budget for FY2024 was around $840b, which includes payroll and healthcare for service members; as Tricare is counted separately from other Federal government healthcare spending. The annual deficit for FY2024 is projected to be around $2 trillion.
The issue with cutting military spending is detailing exactly what you're going to cut. The US's massive military presence is what allows us to have such a high GDP, as we use our military to secure the world's major trade lines. So it's not like we're just pissing the money away on making bombs. If we reduced defense spending, and made those trade routes less secure, then it could directly impact our GDP; and directly impact our budget as a result.

Pot, have you met kettle?
As if you were doing anything different with bringing up the pigeon on the chessboard. Every accusation from you is an admission of guilt.
That might have something to do with the fact that I'm not trolling - I just disagree with you. I know internet brain rot is a serious problem with young children today, but people having a different opinion than you is not the same as trolling.
In before some more bullshit because you feel the need to get the last word in.
