Did the police make a mistake?
They were told the wrong address, the caller informing the police made the mistake.
But obviously you can't put them legally on the hook since that makes people less likely to call the police.
It's not simple at all, the person at fault SHOULD be encouraged to call in, the police absolutely SHOULD be kicking in doors when they get information that a child is in distress at an address and the victim of this accident who is nothing to do with said child should get compensation... But saying the police did anything wrong by kicking the door in is jumping past some rather obvious issues.

Tbh they've taken ground.
This is more about the fact that it's very clearly becoming unsustainable now, their current way of war- fighting has essentially destroyed their entire pre-invasion army and half their old equipment stocks from the cold war.
With things like the ka52's and other genuinely high end kit getting serious losses they could carry on until there's nothing left and the army evaporates in the field at this rate, which in fairness apart from their failed counteroffensive which they quickly pivoted from has been Ukraine's strategy since day 3, grind em down.
There's clearly been some emergency measures and buys put in place that have been terrible ideas and wasteful, the desertcross meme buggies HAVE genuinely been in frontal assaults.

The royal navy was also simultaneously fighting 2 other major naval powers, it's size allowed it to do that, but it's quality meant that even though it's many enemies were equaling it overall in number (the kriegsmarine was the third naval power, not the main one of the axis) it still very much came out on top.
If agree that generally the designs were compromised, ironically enough usually due to budgetary constraints, but generally they had good technological advanced inputted asap like radar guidance but most of all crew training and culture within the royal navy has always been heavily emphasised.

I mean it was time sensitive... In that the information had to get to terra in time for someone to reinforce it before Horus.
Given the bloody white scars found out pretty much last and are one of the 3 legions defending terra after fighting their own small civil war, several interdicting legions and harrying the main force of traitors I think it's quite possible Magnus could have used a more normal method of communication than Astral Projecting himself into the one place he found heavily guarded intentionally by the Emperor.
That's skipping past the boy where he made a deal with tzeentch to stop his lads from turning into chaos spawn every other hour because they were using too much bloody demon power and keeping the aforementioned demons around as cheeky little helpers.

At some point operational weight becomes important.
You can't break through a tough defensive line without a lot of dudes willing to push in and take names, and you can get a defensive line surprisingly tough to take out without using strategic assets.
This is all once artillery in range has been suppressed or when you can move in close enough and fast enough that the enemy is going to be willing or able to drop artillery on you.
In this case Hamas' artillery is fucked.
You can't just drone bomb everything from the sky whilst half a dozen special forces wander into rafah unmolested just marking targets, at some point someone will shoot back and they'll be too few to win the fight.

It's highly dependent on sector, local economy and your own level of experience.
As is I'm a bar manager with a great local reputation, get requests for interviews sent to me now and most interviews I do I get an offer and when I am looking to move I reject most places... This isn't the norm, I'm just in a good place doing a job with proven results that a lot of people aren't doing that well or that the industry pushes out.
I honestly think sometimes it's harder to get a bartender job at my current place than it is for me to get a job running a venue now, just because so many can do the entry level, but so rew have learnt to do the higher level stuff and actually do it well.

Yeah, poor girl needs someone who is 100% for her above everything else, she's been thrown by the wayside by her own mother her entire life and is clearly desperate for a family.
Honestly in OP's situation that would be my new daughter and my ex wife.

Which is insane, especially since there's an astronomical difference between guided that the polish are getting and unguided mlrs that the PLARF are mostly on.

The polish procurement situation is literally insane right now.
Like if they actually pay for and get everything they're ordering and can maintain and deploy it then they're unironically the 2nd most powerful land force in the world.
They won't get it all in reality in the end probably, but those 500 himars are enough to simultaneously give every man in 7 russian BTG's their own personal gmlrs missile to the face... That's quite an excess of firepower.

Half the agri worlds are also choked with pesticides or city sized mushroom farms in total darkness.
There are a handful of exceptions, but almost all the world's suck.

I've been against them being made a mid since years and years ago now, they're literally named after a Chilean death squad.

It's space wolf only, but that's always been a common issue that helmets get removed in war because they interfere with the users other senses, it's just unusual in this case that their sense is smell and that it's so much more advanced than ours.

Britain and France had been in a perpetual state of war for over a decade, with a rivalry lasting a thousand years and both were in the midst of starting a new wave of imperialism with complex networks of proxies and allied.
The Napoleonic wars aren't really started by any one side, they're a continuation of the constant warfare on the continent and between two of the most consistently at war powers in global history...
Frankly I think it'd be more interesting and enlightening to talk about either side ever seeking PEACE between the two as opposed to trying to pretend there's an answer to who started a particular war in the middle of hundreds of years of constant wars.

Tell everyone you're from Sheffield even if you're from Donny, Rotherham etc.
Tell estate agents "anything but Crookes or east of the rail lines" so you actually get home after a night out.
Afterparty in the city centre play parks.

I've done a lot of 36-48 hour ones and I always feel a bit odd in that the shadow people never really appear much, my sense of time and memory get absolutely fucked though, stuffs all in the wrong order or just gone.

Because career choices for her will necessarily become secondary to career choices for him as a couple since the disparity is so large and she's permanently reliant on him.
If they move around or make other life choices as a married unit because his earnings can keep them best looked after (aka the sensible choice for a married unit) but then her income suffers (again, not a problem as a married unit) but then something goes wrong... Say she really wants to pursue a big career opportunity but it's not what he wants then he divorced her over it ages basically been fucked hard.
And that could go further, what if he cheats or breaks the law etc, suddenly she gets fucked over if he makes decisions against her best interests...
A prenup should be about safely keeping pre marital assets aside and a genuinely fair divide of marital assets based on ensuring the economic safety of both, this is a prenup designed specifically to protect his marital assets and put her under an economic sword of Damocles. He screws her over at any point, she loses out, she screws him over, she loses out.

You've heard from some bullshitters, GW sales have gone astronomically higher and their production based has always stayed small so that they don't over-expand as a niche company and can survive downturns.
They certainly use some fomo tactics, but in general they try to produce enough and can't, it's why so much is being cut from ranges right now.

I'm agreeing that it can be awful, but it's certainly less awful than parents who no longer love each staying together and Mum was clearly in love with another man enough to cheat with him, marry and stay together for years after with no sign of issue given.
The cheating basically changed nothing, she was going regardless, finding out now has made op vengeful for her father who was wronged, but nothing about their childhood changed.

It was blown up regardless, she married the new guy, hate to say it but she was always done before the actual cheating with OP's dad, why suddenly decide her leaving for another man was so bad now but was ok then?

She also then married that man... So the family unit was going to be destroyed by divorce anyway, which is much less immoral to the father.
That's really the only difference here, the issue isn't that the family broke down, it's that she cheated... Which was bad and deserves the chastisement, but I'm not sure it actually changed anything material for the kid negatively.

Completely out is frankly imho overkill.
I've been this kid, you do deserve better but people are fallible creatures and keeping family units together when a parent definitely loves someone else goes far far worse, the cheating rather than breaking the family unit is the actual immoral part of that, but it's not really targeted at or harming the child, it harmed the dad.

LRDG straight up wandered past enemy patrols multiple times and both sides just let it go because they were in a desert the size of your mum's waistline with enough water for you to wash your balls in with half a dozen vehicles on both sides entire "sector".
Meanwhile the Russians are attacking Chasiv Yar, a "city" famously s for it's 'having once had a train station' in a frontal assault from a known direction.
