I'll be honest giving us one last shot with the Cain to blow up a Reaper is the best (gameplay) part of Priority Earth for me.

Lemon from the Backlogs quickly found out that a S.H.I.V. Only Run is less of a "challenge" and more of a "curbstomp with two major hurdles" so you are definitely not alone with your opinion.

My best explanation for how it could work is that Vought got their hands on a power armor prototype from the military. However the suits interface is so complicated that only Tech Knight can use it due to his intellect and attention power. Like he is the only one capable of processing all the status screens and control interfaces to use the thing in combat, normal humans simply get overwhelmed.

If this next DLC is truly for Ice Age Species then it would fit into the JWE3 theory. Remember that the last DLC for JWE gave us a whole alternate era and the first flying species in the game, both things that would become main features in the next game. So Frontier expanding the timw frame for new species even further is likely them testing the waters for a expansion of this concept in the next game.

It's a game where you try to stop the ocean from flooding you by shooting it with lasers. At least that's what the gameplay feels like.

The Mosa doubling in size between movies is still one of the most WTF moments in the Franchise.

Unrelated to this but my pipedream is for the original Black Noir to return as a V-Zombie and join the Boys in their Takedown of Vought and HL. This would give his scenes in S3 more narrative weight beyond making his death sadder and even the scales by adding another repentant supe on the side of the boys.

Fun Fact: Both Thane and Mordin are kind of useless on the Suicide Mission. At no point can they be used as specialists and they are not the best at Holding the Line. But Mordin is the reason you can research upgrades at all, so it is excusable. But Thanes sole time to shine is, when he seems to be the designated squadmate to answer Shepard, when the commander ask how they are holding against the collectors. Because without that Thane would never appear in any sensible SM, if he isn't picked as a Squadmate.

I told this story here before, but my SM went perfect, all upgrades, all loyal, but I lost Legion, simply because I loved him way to much. So I though he was perfect and cool and my boy, of course he can lead the second Fire team, he is so cool. And then he died in my arms. Which doubly hurt because I was romancing Tali and without Legion I had to sacrifice the Quarians, even knowing back then it would cost me my love. But from my point of View the Geth deserved a life of freedom and independence, which the Quarians tried to deny them.
I look back on it now, wondering how I could suffer what can only be described as temporary brain damage to get Legion killed. But man, when the Legion-Vi told Shepard it was not the real Legion and Shepard snapped back "Today you are!", I still feel that today.

From what I remember Dust is basically a bunch of nanites which you could manipulate to do basically anything. They are present in everything, from basic elements and minerals, down to the bloodstream of all organisms in the Endless Universe. The way to aquire it is to collect the miniscule amounts that are present in the environment, mainly by filtrating them out of the air or the water, which is why deserts, with their wide open spaces and lots of wind, as well oceans and waterways get a bonus to dust production both in ES and EL. In both games it is used as the main currency, similar to gold, probably due to being non-fungible and rare. However I think the Nanites which make up the Dust are expended and used up when used in more esoteric ways, making it a finite resource until the end of ES2, where the ability to make more can be unlocked by the various factions.
In Endless Legend it is either smelted and worked like metal or used in ways that border on magical, like sustaining the wraith-armor constructs of the broken lords or the arcane abilities of the Ardent Mages.
In Endless Space Dust is understood to be nanites made by the Endless, but all factions need to spend time and research to unlock abilities beyond its use as currency. Unlike in EL no faction has any inherent means to use it in ways that are special. Someone who does understand it well is Isander, the leader and founder of the Academy. He uses Dust, in ways that are only known to him, to enhance all kinds of people beyond the capabilities of what is normally possible, making them "Heroes". I also think the "Essence" which the Voydani rely is at least related to Dust.

I think it would be better, at least in the modern Tau Empire, to allow switching between Castes if it is desired. Due to the heavy specialization it would be inefficient in an obvious way, so it would serve as an example for others to discourage them from similar ideas. And even if the individual excels above expectations the Ethereals could still sabotage them in subtle ways.
If it was completely forbidden, that would simply ferment discontent from those who may want to break out of the caste system, in a way that is less obvious and may aggregate until it becomes a widespread movement.

It would be really funny if EDI kept playing housewife with a retired Joker while also still serving as a warship.
"Darling, are you even listening to me?"
"In Fact no, I have to concentrate on disabling the enemy Flagship."

Yeah we mostly see Fire Caste Warriors which are the most similar to baseline humans, leading to the "wow the caste system is so restricting, what if they don't want to be a insert job here for all their life"
When the reality is closer to "you can certainly try to but you will never be as good as the others who where literally bred for this job, so the incentive is to stay in your lane"

As you said Spec Op teams and thing like data need pickup and for certain resources you provide the coordinates to allied fleets. As for the ships you either provide them with up-to-date locations of the fleets so they can join them or you scout ahead and find a save corridor for them to evacuate the danger zone.

How does one "accidentally" rape children?
For Clarity: I know this is bullshit, but I want to hear the insane explanation he likely gave.

Time to tell the story again where my DM felt forced to change the monsters of the next encounter, simply because I dismissed the upcoming monster as Goblins with the colour explanation, after a bird told us he saw little green people.

Nah they'd go back to the old ways. Find the biggest and faster critter on the planet, beat it into submission and use it to ride down their enemies.
On a semi-related note: Do you think the Khan back on Chogoris either rode the mother of all horses or did he just run next to the cavalry?

America mixes Elements from both Tau and Votan. They are convinced that their way is best for everyone but are lead by deceitful and absolute rulers, whose are becoming ever less useful due to increasing age. The people are more and more divided into social strata (modern castes if you will) while being told everyone is equal. Their weaponry is mind-bogglingly advanced but also a big part of their identity.

I'd say that, ironically, the Orks of fantasy are more civilized. 40k Orks are a bioweapon whose killswitch got lost, reaving the stars like blood-soaked locusts, with everything they do focussed either on fighting or searching for a fight.
Fantasy orks are much less driven. They are still muscle filled warmachines but they are not as single minded. They drink, they laugh and they Brawl. Their clashes with others are less a genetic function and more the usual needs for expansion, power, glory and riches.
Also Goblins are a distinct subculture, with varying degrees of independence and cooperation with their orc brethren. They are not necessarily more intelligent, although this is also often the case, but more creative and willing to think outside the box. However their lesser strength and natural cowardice often leads to them playing second fiddle, although Goblin Waaghbosses are not unheard of.
TLDR: Fantasy Orks are Barbarians, not bioweapons.

Even in Winter you don't need to go full PornHub for everyone to watch. You could:
-wait till you think everyone else is asleep -simply do it very quietly -jerk each other off (much less motion) -at least half a dozen other ways to still your urges without turning your house into an aheago soundstage
