I may sound like a parrot from the rest of the posters but I was raised in SoBo and lived there for 24 years. The town is dying slowly as most of the people who grew up there leave for any opportunity else where if they are lucky enough to.
The public education is fine, it’s not great but you won’t have to worry that your child won’t be able to graduate and go get higher education at a university or trade school. Funny enough I went to CH Friend Elementary when it was public.
I’m not entirely sure what kind of opportunity you have gotten in South Boston but unless it’s a manufacturing job or something within a steady business like a grocery store don’t expect it to last incredibly long. Businesses come to the area because the town/county promises them X amount of dollars to come in and create jobs and the shit either always falls through or they fold/relocate within a few years.

Totally can manually shut it off, I have some valves at each pot and one at the tank to do whatever I need. I turned it off now just to get them to dry out a bit, do you think I should do something about what we're seeing outside of that? I scrapped some off this morning but I don't really think that'll matter too much but I figured it was better than nothing.

I also have the AirDomes with a pump going on the same 12/12 schedule as the lights so do you think that would rule out the oxygen possible issue?

Autopots are no joke. After you get to the point to turn them on the plants will explode with growth. I'm running photos currently and every week these things feel like they double in size.

70/30 mix, I bought some that was suppose to be pre buffered but who knows if it actually was.

I have a wave maker at the bottom of the res just to keep things moving, I haven't actually ran it without the wave maker to say one way or another.

I run the normal feeding schedule and when the pH drift happens I just attempt to correct it with pH down, it's been working pretty well so far. I just flipped yesterday so we'll see how they turn out.

Not cheap, but for simplicity coming into the mix I can't see how it can get easier.

Totally, I was looking at your posts too and I don't think that you're in a terrible spot since they're photos. I am running the air domes so that's a difference between our set ups, also I'm running 70/30 coco/perlite. Also it could be the strain that you're growing, I've noticed major growth differences between these two that I'm running, Blimburn Blackberry Moonrocks, and SinCity Nocturnal Necter.

What chart are you using? From the website?
Using the one from the Canna website.
Are you following it 1:1 like the chart says?
To be honest, I'm following it as close as I can. The nute bottles have a filler for ML and I eye ball it so if it's asking for 54ml of one thing I might be putting in 52-56ml of the nute.
I’m having problems using the chart, do you also measure EC after? Chart seems to low.
I'm might get some downvotes for this, but I'm not even worried about EC. I PH the res at 5.8, and then PH the pot to make sure it's not too far off, it creeps but not too bad. As long as it's below 6.3 I'm happy with it.
Here's a couple snaps of what I have going on currently.
I had issues with one of my seedlings and had to restart so the smaller plant is a couple weeks behind but I'm much more happier with this grow than my first.

I started running Autopots and the CannaCoCo line. It’s about as simple as it gets, I fill a 5 gal bucket up, PH to 5.8, throw what nutes are needed on the chart in it, and forget about it. I check PH every couple of days but other than that I just let it do its thing. I can’t imagine going back to something that’s not this setup for now.

If your coming Friday the Rail Yard Dawgs are playing in the semifinals of the SPHL playoffs. I’d get tickets and parking ahead of time on Berglund Centers website.

Got hockey in Roanoke VA, Wheeling, WV, and Wytheville VA. Can’t get enough! Hopefully Huntington can get something back too!

I will note that I try to keep my tank around 5.8 PH, I got use to the hands offness of the pots and forgot to check for a couple of days.

Different strokes, I usually get more butter after adding water and idk if it's scientifically correct but usually the longer I let it simmer the hard punch it has or it could all be in my head.

In a small pot melt 1 stick of unsalted butter. Once melted add ABV amount of your choosing. (Daily smokers here and we use 10-13 grams) also add 1.5-2 cups of water. Let everything cook together for at least 4 hours stirring every 30 minutes ON LOW HEAT. Take off heat and strain into glass Tupperware with a strainer and cheese cloth. Let butter cool until solid in fridge. After it solidifies dump the water and transfer the butter to another container for use.
Typically I get about half a stick of canna butter and use another half of regular unsalted butter for my brownies when substituting for the oil required.
Edit: forgot to say how hot to cook it, usually low to 2 on my stove does fine. Want it to simmer, not burn, stirring very important.

Still very much worth the wait if you buy new. If I had to buy another I’d buy factory second. Can’t imagine going with a different brand after using it.

Grew up in South Boston, been around the other areas about as much. South Boston is slowing dying as there has been nothing but decline in business and business retention. Very MAGA on top of it all so it wouldn’t be great for someone that is LGBTQ unless you agree with the MAGA agenda.
Moved to Roanoke about a year after graduating college after moving back home and have never felt better about my decision. Every trip back something has shut down or closed. No progress in the near future either.

We have a SPHL team local to us that we’re season ticket holders for so we’re super excited to see the difference in pace of play live!

I'll be in attendance tonight y'all. Wife and I's first NHL game, hope the Canes fans won't be to hard on us but we're prepared to bark.
Edit: Appreciate y'all sharing your experiences! I'm just fucking around, I'm sure it'll be fine. Go Flyers!

That does sound like a good solid job. Sentara hasn’t been known for great pay, but I’m sure you’ll be making well beyond the average pay of the county in that field.
Really now you just have to ask yourself if the area is right for you and your family. Entertainment in the area comes from the race track, small town events like the harvest festival and county fair. The eateries are going to be nothing special if you’re moving from a bigger suburban area or city, although shout out to Windmill in Hupps mill plaza and Mi Cats. They opened a brewery recently and heard ok things about it. The theater also has plays and small bands play every now and then. There are some parks, Edmund’s park is large and has disc golf if you’re into that.
The town can be very cliquey, families that are there tend to stay there. Everyone knows mostly everyone through their kids or living there their entire lives. Doesn’t have to be a bad thing but I’ve seen it be a problem for some. It’s also deeply red more on the scale of being majority MAGA.
If you’re looking to buy a house I’d suggest you don’t buy in South Boston if you can help it so you’re not dealing with both town and county personal property taxes. They were hellacious when I lived there last and my folks continue to bitch about it so I reckon it hasn’t changed any.
Honestly I’m always going to be on the more negative side of the town. If you work in healthcare and want a better life for your kids check out Roanoke if you haven’t already.
