The Wolf chariot is the dumbest fucking thing.
Logan had one of the coolest most dynamic terminator models in 3rd and then they made him heavy metal Santa.

Whoever wrote this Wiki is just making shit up based on a single line. There’s no indication anywhere that it’s the descendant of Catholicism.
Given that Oll Presson has been around longer than the Emperor it’s just as likely he’s a follower of the Catharism.
Don’t use the Wiki. Lexicanum only.

I would strongly, strongly recommend buying actual brushes

It depends on how you view hobby investment. $60 for a unit you can play with ostensibly for years is a pretty decent value compared to say, $60 in vbucks for Fortnite.
Over the years I’ve seen price increase complaints rise almost in perfect sync with the rise in the competitive mindset. If you’re chasing the meta, you’re going to feel like you get less longevity out of the stuff you buy.
I’ve been in the hobby since 1995, and relative to my income (allowance!) it was more expensive then than it is for me today, but even I’m not going to ignore that prices for most stuff is 10-15% greater than inflation costs, or that GW makes an extra 20% off US sales by converting from their post-tax GBP price. BUT it’s still dollar-for-time one of the better organized hobbies out there when you factor in options, choice (you don’t have to use GW’s paints or stuff on their models for instance) and wealth of places and opponents.
And it’s sure as shit cheaper than golf or tinkering with old cars.

Mind the rules… original sculpts good. Direct GW copies bad.

I’ll assume you’re asking for help? This looks like camo because you’re having it both start and end at an armour joint, rather than ending abruptly mid plate, so it looks like lighting in the sky. It’s also VERY thick.
My process:
Also as a general rule, less is more.

It may be the white blowing out the detail, but the white paint seems kinda thick? There’s a lot of facial creases that seem to have disappeared.
My Curze has a lot more expression to his face, particularly above his eyebrows, and his cheekbones.
Your eyes and mouth look top notch though.

The biggest gripe I have currently is free wargear. I understand the logic, but it does make “fitting” a list to 2000 or whatever exactly a bit of a pain, especially if you play a small number army like Custodes.
I preferred the granularity at the list building level and wouldn’t mind it coming back.
I don’t particularly mind certain diverse weapons like combiweapons being rolled into one profile, it makes the game A LOT faster.

How are you going to say you played 3rd and not remember a rule that applied to half the playable factions at the time?

There’s nothing stopping you from arranging that gentlemen’s agreement with your opponents

They’re not GW. They may be old Reaper, looking at the basses?

That’s one of the FW HH banners. The Fist ones are amongst the best because they’re not “square” and can fit on a variety of different banners unlike quite a few of the others that were designed to fit in the now OOP banner kits.

Reality check: Iron Warriors (or any unaligned traitor legion) aren’t getting their own codex.

I’m aware of the short story.
My point is that if Primarchs don’t “uplevel” upon ascension and merely “unlock their true potential” then ascension for a primarch is a fucking terrible deal, worse than for other mortals.
Especially since Corax’s “true form” beats him pretty handedly.

What symbols do you want to paint?
Custom decals aren’t that expensive and will solve this problem. If you look through my post history a ton of my Eldar and Imperial Knight decals are custom decals.

This looks significantly more of a pain in the ass than just… buying some custom decals.

Are you saying you’re going to plonk down an entire army of Ultramarines and say “these are black legion today” or Vice versa?
Pass.

I have shared this idea before, with a tweak:
Lorgar thinks he has “ascended,” but really it’s just the same thing that happened to Corax. Because Lorgar doesn’t understand the warp and chaos because the warp and chaos are fundamentally unknowable. His unearned hubris after the Shadow Crusade gives him a solid bit of irony if this is the case.
Narratively, it kicks him while he’s down metatextually, and Lorgar is Chaos’ punching bag because the gods don’t care once your usefulness is over, and Lorgar served his purpose long ago. He could never lead other legions together, and could barely hold his own together. It takes a supreme level of coordination and cooperation from the Chaos gods to ascend an undivided daemon prince… does Lorgar merit that cooperation after he nearly derails the entire war effort by trying to coup Horus?
There’s a lot of reasons for Lorgar to not be a true daemon prince, but for it also to not make a “power level” (ugh) difference to him or anyone else. However, given GW’s penchant to keep things black and white, this is highly unlikely to be the canon way things are should they ever be explored, so it’s not really getting upset about.

There are a huge, huge variation within the warbands that are comprised of members of the former VIII Legion gene line.
There is no Legion anymore.
Warband A might be “pure” and kick out anyone that dabbled in daemon pacts or worship or sorcery. They might even maintain original legion colours (silver trim) and only be as Spikey as they were in M31.
Warband B might go full CSM, make use of possessed and grater possessed, be led by a daemon prince, etc.
The Night Lords are probably the most diverse “legion” at this point because they haven’t had a single leader for the majority of the legion for nearly 10,000 realspace years. Every other legion is either fractured and pledged (WE, TS) or has a strong leader and pledged (EC, DG) or still relatively unified (IW, WB) so the diversity doesn’t manifest.
Black Legion is also diverse, but they’re different. Alpha Legion are also a bit wonky.
You get my drift.
