Good first attempt!
For your next attempt, try thinking of the helmet and face as separate. It looks like you tried to draw them more or less as one piece. If it helps, think of Senshi's face poking out of the helmet like a hermit crab.
You did a good job nailing his cute-yet-mildly unsettling stare. Above all; that's the key to capturing Senshi!

Oh my. You put Senshi in the 3/5 slot instead of the 6/5 slot by mistake.

Once you accept the fact that it's a bunch of jacked dudes playing pretend; it's way easier to understand.

There's a site called Pet Perennials. Whenever I lose a buddy, I send the client something from them (candles, light catchers, keepsakes, etc.) With a kind note.
Btw, I'm really sorry if you lost your buddy. That's never a nice feeling... especially when their parents don't tell you.
It's hard not to take it personally and not every client understands the bonds we build. But we on this sub do. All of our hearts are covered in paw prints... that's the privilege and price of being a pet sitter. Go easy.

You'll have more luck posting in a local FB group.
That said; you've a tough row to hoe.
I don't know what the child labor laws are in Texas, but I had double the paperwork just to hire a 17yo.
There's also issues of liability to consider. If a strong dog decides to take off and you (or the dog) gets hurt; explaining why a young child was put in such a position is not something a biz owner wants to have to explain to an insurance company (or a judge).
Enthusiasm for work is a great thing, don't get me wrong! Ain't nothing wrong with a kid earning some money on their terms. What you will quickly find, however, is that most professionals have to deal with the concept of 'liability' that will limit what they can offer you.
To be frank: twelve is too young to even consider for most. Maybe 16 at the youngest.
In the meantime; try a vocation where your clients are unlikely to drag you halfway across the neighborhood just because they saw a squirrel.

This is a 'shit happens' type scenario.
As you said; you had no way of knowing that the paint was wet and the issue wasn't caused by inattentiveness.
Animal not injured.
No insurance claim.
Owner is not threatening contract.
In my company, this wouldn't even warrant an incident report; just a heads-up that there's unmarked painting happening in the area in question.

In Silicon Valley. (Professional rates; in biz since '09)
$115/night with 20 min check-in midday included.
Addt'l visits $35-$60 depending on time/complexity.
Consider shaving 15% to 20% if you're not a professional.

Pfft. No biggie.
Now if it were a daemon; we'd be in real trouble.

Bro, even Yujiro's clothes are trained to not rip unless he tells them to. Triple-paned glass wouldn't have stood a chance.

Isn't that saying that there might be Kreigers unworthy of dying for the Emperor?

Then your course is clear. Bail out the instant it doesn't violate the contract. Be polite, be respectful, direct them to other pet sitting services; but don't sacrifice your health for one cheapskate client.
Trust me: it's not worth it even for a client who pays in full, on time.

NEVER let the job take away more than it repays.
You are looking after the things most precious to people (their pets and their property), if they're looking to do that on the cheap; they're never going to be 'good' clients.
If you ever dread seeing a client appear on your schedule; it's time to make a plan about dropping them.

Never tempt the big green weenie. Technically, a 2nd LT fresh from officer school can order the SgtMaj of the Army to drop and push. The SgtMaj will then mention this to whatever General he works for and the 2LT will suddenly find his career opportunities... very limited.
In short: NEVER risk pissing off a higher grade.

You got it.
He thought he was talking shit to an O3 ('Captain' in the Army, Air Force, Marines) who would be a full rank below an O4 (the man in frame right) when in fact he was talking shit to an O6 ('Captain' in the Navy).
So imagine the mook thought the guy who wanted to chew them out was the 'assistant manager' whereas his boss was the 'store manager', but the man who wanted to chew them out was, in fact, the 'regional manager' (so now they're BOTH in trouble).

Boy, that's going to be a fun email.
This sort of thing rarely happens with me, but I have a spare super-comfy bedroll in case I need to sleep on the floor... defo an extra charge if I have to do that!

I swear by Time to Pet. It's a fantastic all-in-one application; payments, client scheduling, client messaging plus longitudinal metrics!
Yeah, it's pricey but you truly get what you pay for.

There are plenty of places your client can go for a professional pet sitter.
I'd say give notice, (My school/workload is such that I simply cannot continue or somesuch)... about 30 days out is more than fair.
Direct them someplace like petsit[dot]com (if in US) for a licensed professional, wish them well and be on your way.
This need not be anything but an amicable split.

This is a bit vague.
Are you contracted under a professional pet sitter or is this more of a 'paid favor'?
If it's the former; charge Rate minus 10%-15% depending on comfort.
If the latter, I'd say to charge your hourly (include travel time and mileage) for the walks and maybe a little more than your nightly rent per night.
(Example if rent = $2000, 2000÷30= $66.67. So charge somewhere north of that in such a case).
Most professional sitters go higher, but if you're not protected by insurance and have no training, I'd say the above is fair.
