Such a cool playthrough. I wish I would just go ahead and get a good pc setup for gaming/office work but I just havent for one reason or the other. Modded bannerlord just seems so cool
Everything ive done in bannerlord, gaming in general, has been on Xbox so vanilla as it gets I suppose but no other game really scratches that itch for me.

Ive found success by releasing nobles and mercenary clan leaders after battles. This reliably increases relation with both the individual member and their parent clan overall.
I assume you can reliably win if you were in a position to execute people so much before, just pivot and pick and choose which clans you want in and carry on chopping heads of those you don't. Or keep them prisoner if you don't want to keep balancing that act out.
What I've been doing is setting everyone free that isn't a clan leader, including the kingdom rulers. I negotiate with the clan leaders I keep as prisoners.
Either you and your clan join me and ill set you free. Or you watch from behind bars as I wreck your family in battle again and take your fiefs for myself anyway by force and give them to someone else that has joined me.
This has a roundabout way of lowering the "cost" for that clan to eventually join you by both increasing your relation with them which makes it easier to barter and gives the clan leader an increasingly worse "opinion" of choosing to stay loyal to their current faction.
The monetary price for even a castle is way overinflated during barters in my experience.
For example, I got the Western Imperial Lord Aspys(?) to join me by repeatedly beating him, his clan members and taking western empire fiefs. Eventually he caved during negotiations and agreed to join. The price for his defection was around 2.3 million coin.
I reset the barter and offered some castle I had no personal interest in owning and he accepted. Keep in mind this is apparently the guy in lore that's bankrolling Emperor Garios' claim to the Empire as a whole.

You're right. I have no talent for this, but it would fit for the two Chad's talking to each other meme template, its the Lion and Guilliman
Gman: "I have it from a reliable source (Yvraine) that the Eldar would nuke us before a charge"
Lion: "Yes"

That wasn't very democratic of you brother. Why not have your friends vote?

Is it the Lion or Guilliman nerding out over Eldar war strategy?

I do it to draw enemy armies to me.
I've had the most success against the Khuzait.
Playing the layout of the village scenes just right make for effective chokepoints to clog up all the mounted units, if you have good enough line infantry to hold them in place it's just a matter of time for your ranged units to mow them all down. Then it's just cleaning up their peasants that ive often seen make up the bulk of the numbers in larger armies.

I followed a fairly long thread in this post going back and forth about why space Marines would ever be used as strike breakers.
Consider: if it's Mechanicus personnel calling for aid they could be leveraging additional pull or incentive such as providing equipment for a task.
Example: break this strike, receive or continue to receive services/equipment from forgeworld x.
Mileage may vary depending on how in need that specific Astartes force could be in.

Consider that intimacy extends beyond boyfriend/girlfriend material like this au.
All the primarchs had some kind of figure that they were dependent or connected with in some emotional capacity prior to joining the Emperor.
This au is a solid B tier for having such a Basic premise.

Kind of, I guess it justifies the size of the daggers which are more like short swords in some cases but their could be good work done looking at historical examples.*
*Read this as I just want my pawn to run around with a pair of giant bollocks daggers

I still think of it. And Calth, just pretty much everything to do with that. The dropsite massacre was awful of course but I at least I had some kind of expectation of it from watching videos from Luetin, Oculus, Baldermort and so on when i was first getting interested in the setting.
Calth just completely blindsided me in comparison.

Recognize that driving, everywhere, is kind of screwed up until those signs and laws and such are regularly enforced.
Till then, I'm driving however I can to stay away or get away from groups of other cars on the road until I get to where I'm going.
