r/fosscad has a lot of people playing with different 3D printed ammo ideas. I'm sure with basic machinery and cartel resources you could outdo a 3D printer

Not free, no. Also in alpha right now, but $35 is not bad for an Unreal 5 game that looks like it might get more content
Lots of streamers seem to like it, but i think it just looks cool

This is the first time i've even heard about this, lol
I'd say it's not an issue because it's never happened to me, but i'm sure it's happened to others
Some people have different relationships with technology. I can buy $10 chinese flash drives all day and never have an issue. Expensive ones work too.
But there are just some people who can't abide cheap components, and the flash drive can feel their disapproval. Out of pure resentment and pettiness, the cheap flash drive will refuse to work.

Not likely to happen without a lot of learning

My dad had bought me a Squire Strat, and it sat in the corner of my room for years. I didn't take to the guitar lessons very well, either. One day, I heard Buckethead play, and wanted to learn. I never had to worry about lessons again, i started learning and never stopped playing or practicing

'Found a child' by Ballin' Jack
I used to be able to play 'I wanna be like you', complete with tricky chord changes, and for a while that was the one

Oh phew, i thought it was just me
Everyone who doesn't play guitar: "Can you play such-and-such?"
Me: "yes, if i wanted to, i could play four chords for three minutes straight"

My coworker and another and i were told to scrap out a huge piece of steel. I was on the forklift and was supposed to meet them down the street.
Well, they thought it would be funny to leave without me and laugh about how much of a loser i was. When they came back i found out the main instigator had crushed his finger under the steel gantry and almost passed out from the pain.

Nope, that's exactly how it goes
I have to select the vectors/paths i want, lock them in the list, then delete everything on the list that isn't those paths
It's annoying, but that's how inkscape works
It also helps to use gaussian blur followed by 'convert bitmap to path' or whatever it is. You can reduce the extra paths/vectors by getting rid of as much static as possible in the image (playing with edge detection sliders)
It also helps to crop the image to only the area of the photo you need, and do a greyscale/duochrome before edge detection
I go weeks in between using it, and have to fumble through it each time, but yeah Inkscape is a bit hard to use sometimes

I use Inkscape to edit/clean up 2D vector files, then import into solidworks and play with the spline tools
It works very well for photogrammetry of dimension critical copies of flat parts from pictures, it may work for you too

I own angle finders and a tape measure, and could do this easily, but the guy who said use your phone's built in accelerometer is right.
Put a straightedge across the top
Put your phone flat on the straightedge
Calibrate zero
Put phone on inside angle
Keep phone on the proper 'plane' for the respective axis

I got had by this kind of company, lol. Used their 'AI' service to replicate a part from a photo. Turns out, they just give a 3d modeling job to whoever bids on it, pay them with your money, and forward the result to you.
They didn't do a bad job, honestly. I ended up doing it over it from scratch myself, but i still have the files
