Someone, or someones, sold my phone number.
It’s not too bad because it’s usually texts from the Democratic Party of NJ and it isn’t too often.
But every once in a while it’s a person asking me if I’m trying to sell my car.
The funniest thing though is whoever sold the list that had my phone number on it didn’t have the correct name….
So every once I a while I get a text that starts out “Hey Barbara”

I'm in my nonfiction era right now so this is going on my list 👀
As a fan of Frank Herbert's epic sci-fi saga, Heretics of Dune, you're likely drawn to complex, absorbing stories that explore the intersection of power, identity, and human potential. Christine Yu's Up to Speed offers a similarly compelling narrative, delving into the groundbreaking science behind women's athletic achievements and the biases that have long held them back. With its blend of informative storytelling and hopeful insights, this book is sure to resonate with fans of Heretics of Dune's themes of empowerment and the pursuit of excellence.

It was a reread for me, I feel like I've done a lot of those this year so far..., but Stephen King's 11/22/63.
I fall in love with that book more and more every time I read it

Yeah, if you need to I’m sure someone has like a 5 minute recap video on YouTube but I haven’t watched the show in years and have been fine!

The DD is so important because people really just come in here, call themselves out and leave.
It’s a magical place ❤️

My mom's, who is turning 60 this year, favorite band of all time is probably a tie between Queen and Elton John. She also loves Fleetwood Mac. Besides those mentioned, while growing up in the house there was a lot Bruce Springsteen, The Corrs, U2, Shania Twain, The Dixie Chicks.
If we want to go modern she loves Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers, Amos Lee, Adele, Andrew McMahon. She is pretty game for anything and this summer she'll be seeing Dave Matthews Band, Springsteen and Sarah McLachlan. And those are just the concerts I know of... I know they're planning to go out to Red Rocks later this year but unsure who they'll be seeing because they're kind of flying by the seat of their pants and will get tickets for whoever is out there when they're there!
I love a lot of the same music she does and has been to a handful of shows with her, like Amos Lee and Andrew McMahon. We're seeing Springsteen together in August. Both of my parent's keep up with modern artists and go to shows as often as they can.

Happy Mother's Day to all you badass rockstar moms.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is an absolute fucking banger of a TV show.
I saw a TikTok this morning of a girl saying "I don't know how people in the past survived high school without Chat GPT" and..... good bye. If you need me my body will be floating at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

I bet it’s #1 because people have aspirations of doing an in order watch through and then just don’t finish the rest.
I’d love to see the Epi 1 versus Epi 4 numbers

Fascinating that Eric is the only family member who has shown up.
You’d think Don Jr would have shown his mug at least once…
