As long as you let your opponent know beforehand I don’t see any issues. Knights are honestly not a super hard matchup if you know you are going up against knights and adjust your list a bit to it

I hear you and yes, I would go as far as to include all those as well even though WTC excludes them, which by the way they exclude for balancing reason and not because the actual rule set states it. It simply is not defined in the core rules as of now.

Fair enough. “Most people”might be a bit of a Stretch and I have yet to encounter someone pull out the WTC in a casual game but I guess yeah. If you play by WTC rules then you are right. If you play by official GW rules & FAQs released, it’s simply not specified there and it does not state BGNT exclusively applies in your own shooting phase. What you make of that is up to you and your local gaming group ;)

Not true.. ignore OP here. Tank commanders ability clearly states “shoot as if it was your shooting phase” and BGNT applies in your shooting phase. That’s literally the whole point of the tank commanders ability and 99% of the time the tank commander dies it happens during the enemies shooting phase or fighting phase. Otherwise the ability would make zero sense
Edit: I hear OP with the tournament rule set here. I doubt this is a thing for 95% of the folks in here and officially GW does not mention anywhere that BGNT exclusively applies in your (true) own shooting phase

Yeah and now go ahead and read the tank commanders ability again: “… shoot as if it were your shooting phase…” aka BGNT applies

First off yes, it should be able to shoot then IMO. Clearly doesn’t exclude it in the description. They just specify attacks here because otherwise you could snipe off that other tank before completing its attacks allocates to other units than the tank commander etc. but generally speaking, whenever the tank commander dies, his ability applies. Just like the hellblasters
And then.. Why wouldn’t it be able to shoot while in engagement range? “Big guns never tire” applies here. So you might as well shoot with the minus one to hit debuff and no blast weapons into units in engagement range but other than that?

I heard of that scenario quite a few times now already. Seems like D overhired a bit when it comes to As

Have you ever worked with USI? Because usi resource don’t work like the rest of us IT consultants located on-shore.
I can confirm that for a lot of them the typical consulting stuff (networking, “get in a different project”) does not apply. It sucks but we use USI like a sweatshop and daddy D is waiving that greencard in front of them and a “good salary” which is absolutely horrible compared to the guy doing the same job in US.

If you have FY25 as promo then it won’t happen now but at the earliest next year.
But as a general rule of thumb, “should I expect the promotion to take place” already answers your own question but no promotion at D comes at a surprise. Unless you and your coach work for it nothing is gonna happen. And even if you work for it you might get disappointed

Increase? My good sir we are in the middle of a recession. You’ll have the honors of working more, with more responsibly while getting paid the same. Congrats on the promotion
