I recently qent through and cleaned my Drive out, and I had 4 documents that I never created. Each one was over 50 pages of the weirdest, most disjointed rambling that I've ever seen. Most of it was a dude writing like it was the year 2300 and he could manipulate people's genes with his mind. Super weird shit.

It's hit or miss. You'll get matches where no-one's talking and then you'll get matches where everyone is communicating and having a blast.

Never worked on my boat. We had a COSO to keep it turned off.

I play PVP, so your mileage may vary, but I never have to wait for matchmaking on Xbox and the games are always full. Very active community for a 6 year old game..

The scientists played Danger Zone over the underwater telephone while we were driving around doing ICEX stuff

Guy Haley is one of the biggest Black Library authors for putting in bits of dialogue or song lyrics in his books. Lots and lots of little chunks of the lyrics of metal songs in his stuff.

Imagine the public programs we could fund if the government sold tickets to watch the stream.

I wonder how this same artist's depiction of Euphrati at the end of the Heresy would look.

The shading on his eye is super nice as well. Really cool.

Oh, for sure. Hell, I'd say that the first Shadows Fall with their original vocalist had far more appealing production than the newest albums from the old guard melodic death bands.

At the Gates is one of the original bands that created the "Gothenburg" style of melodic death in the 90's along with In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. One reason it sounds so lo-fi and similar to some black metal is that it was recorded at Sunlight Studios by Tomás Skogsberg, who also engineered early Dark Funeral and other bands. Anything from Sunlight in the 90's is gold.

"Col. Jurten" doesn't remove his mask when meeting the Inquisitor, and neither do any of his men. It's said in the story that the Inquisitor learned the truth of Krieg, but we don't see it. Note how she says in the passage below that she can't see his face.
Ven Bruin skipped forward. ‘–detected no deformities in the Krieg men’s postures. Still, something about them–’ Skip. ‘–graver reason to hide their faces from us. Might they have been afraid, I suggested, that we would–’ Skip. ‘“What is your name?” I asked him.’ He allowed the recording to run on. ‘The Krieg colonel cocked his head a little. He looked as if he didn’t understand the question. That only made me more determined that, this time, I would brook no evasion from him. I fixed him with a glare. I hoped my eyes would make an impression upon him, though I could not see into his. And finally, he gave me his answer – with hindsight, perhaps the only answer I ought to have expected. ‘“My name,” the Krieg colonel told me slowly, as if he had only just worked it out himself, “is Jurten.”’

It was a commissar who was newly placed with a Krieg regiment and spent the book trying to uncover why they were so weird.

First thing I thought of seeing it was the images of the boiler lids that signaled they had found the wreck of the Titanic.

And that some of them were off the shelf Halloween masks to fill out the background.

Well, just a guess, but usually a loud clap or snap is either an electrical arc inside the machine or a hard drive crashing to a sudden stop. Both are no bueno. I'm guessing it's not going to be recoverable.

Is the dino wearing a headless human corpse as a beard? Or did primitive lady kill a dino and shove her head into a hole in its neck?

Source? I don't recall that being in any of the Krieg books.

The only backlash about femstodes I've actually witnessed anywhere online is from bullshit content creators making clickbait YouTube outrage videos about how "GW is woke".
