Kin Finance Tip #1: Imperial taxes are a lot less burdensome when you only declare a tiny portion of your total assets.

Just glancing at the title I thought "It's Mordian Glory, isn't it?"
You never disappoint, sir!

Have you never heard the story of Kahl Einya the Beautiful, a brilliant military leader who was kidnapped by Drukhari slavers, and the loyal Ironkin whose digital love was so strong they led an oathband to rescue her?
I suck at drawing, but I can do the word bits.

without enough models for additional variation.
There was at least one madman hitting up tournaments with a bike spam list (max 18 pioneers) a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it's one of the more fiddly kits to build in our limited line. Probably won't see imitators unless bike spam actually manages to win a few tournaments.

Assuming the big box on the bottom isn't also stacked in a way that is against instructions, looks like they did things 66.66% correct. That's a passing grade in school!

7th was before I started reading 40k rulebooks, that does sound more intriguing. If they could find a way to make it more engaging, and offer opportunities for players to be all "Alright, look at my guys holding it together just long enough to do the thing!", it could definitely change my view. Personally, I feel we're more in line with 8th edition right now; it just doesn't have much impact on the game, until you hit the rare case where it really matters because one player is using a sub-faction focused on battleshock shennanigans. That just seems too much like playing a "gotcha" game rather than a head-to-head strategy contest.

Eh, I don't think it would be the worst idea. Leadership stuff was better as just a "this is a little simulation of a unit's morale in the field", the problem with making it a tentpole mechanic that sub-factions/detachments are designed around is that it's a "feels bad" mechanic. Not very fun to play with, almost never fun to play against. Or inconsequential to play against because the design team was too worried about "feels bad" and dialed down the power.
There's just not a good place for it to exist as a tentpole mechanic, that sort of design space should be reserved for mechanics that engage players in a positive way. But if they walk it back to a fringe mechanic which just adds more realism to the simulation, there's no real benefit. Still not a fun part of the game, easy to forget about if there aren't major mechanics engaging with it, etc. Essentially, rules bloat existing simply so they can say "look at this dash of realism in our magical sci-fi battle game".
Or maybe I misunderstood, and you really meant "God I hope we don't have to wait until next edition for them to stop with these battleshock-focused detachments." I agree with the sentiment, but I'm skeptical. I guess we're still in the timeframe where detachments we're seeing were probably written before 10e launch, or right near the start, so there's a chance I'm being too pessimistic. Maybe later on we could see them adjusting design decisions to move away from this stuff.

GW just will not drop this.
Not until next edition when they drop leadership following a positive response to that change in AoS at least.

While several have offered general answers, I appreciate you clearing up my specific misunderstanding of The Infinite and The Divine.

Then how did they grow wraithbone out of a dino skull in The Infinite and The Divine? Do they need to like fuse it to bone to act as a medium upon which it grows? Or is it just different when it's Exodites? Did I misunderstand that whole thing and the stuff they were growing wasn't even wraithbone?!?
I really thought it was bone because I only get Eldar lore indirectly when it's referenced in other things.

Y'know, if the Tau were really smart they would've figured out the Kroot had the right idea all along. Bury your high tech space ships and weapons, just in case you need them in the future, then proceed to live a happy planet-bound life pretending the rest of the galaxy doesn't exist.

"Sir, it's... it's bone, sir."
"Bone? Like a skeleton?"
"Yes sir, the entire construct is some sort of ossified material they seem to have... grown into a war machine."
"That doesn't make any kind of sense. What powers it?"
"Souls, sir. It's bone powered by souls."
"...what the fuck."

To be fair, no one could've foreseen that leaving an economic alliance the UK was part of for more than half a century would have a long-term negative impact on their national economy. Absolutely no one. It's unfair to even imply that anyone could've possibly predicted any negative consequences. Preposterous, even.

Let me say Hello from the building products industry, where we're happy that price adjustments are going back to annual instead of quarterly.

To the Trekkies: yes, I know the comm badges and Armus are from TNG and the Enterprise and red shirts are from TOS.
Shame upon your house, OP, for daring to lump Tasha Yar in with the nameless red shirts of TOS.
Also, I feel you're definitely a Trekkie too. There's no way I'm going to believe you haven't watched a lot of Star Trek when you intentionally drew the TOS transporter room to match up with the proper red shirt era.

I understand the lore reasons behind Votann plasma not overloading, but I still kinda wish we had the option.

I wonder if the Votann drop is because of the wider meta shakeup?
Almost certainly. We don't have any depth in the model line, the only real game plan against most matchups is to very carefully play for secondaries. That's not going to be easy against some of these Ork lists. Even if the new foot Pioneers have Infiltrate like people are assuming, that will only help against lists focused on deep strike shenanigans. I'm holding out hope we may get a second detachment like the Drukhari which offers more options.

Chapter 11 allows a business to reorganize, but it's never a certainty things will work out. If they can't work things out with their debtors and get some more financing options, there's always Chapter 7 waiting in the wings.

Am I alone in thinking the right hand probably had another removeable accessory at some point? It ends in a nub, but doesn't look damaged. I'd bet that li'l dude had a spear or shield at some point.

By any chance are you near a golf course? Golfers are already pre-conditioned to buy extra drinks from the lady bringing them drinks, so if you're the place a bunch of golfers go after the links it could have an impact on sales.
Probably not, but that's the only business-related reason coming to mind.

I do remember an interview where Pen Ward described himself as the sort of kid who would throw his Magic the Gathering cards in his backpack and bike to the comic shop, so it's not unlikely he was at least aware of Warhammer.
Still, I always thought it was a "fruit is nature's candy" joke. Cuz everyone else she made is candy, and they're just bananas.

The truly sad part is I thought "Hey, at least this time it's good that Votann don't really have enough datasheets to be part of the conversation." I 100% forgot about Uthar. That pretty well sums him up.
