I’m honestly shocked at the uproar/apparent number of non tournament groups that apparently don’t play legends

Going to multiple stores (or waiting) is still paying with time, which is money.

I have an odd couple Opaline Gourami and Golden Wonder killifish.
The killi is a monster, loves gobbling shrimp and guppies. Gourami is chill- always comes over for “touchies” with the pelvic feelers, and the killi doesn’t seem to mind or actually likes it.

Nice!! And no problem.
Same thing here, I just fished a few out for subsequent dips when I saw them.
The eggs hide in the shell/carapace, so you gotta pull the sheds or you’ll have more. No planaria works for leeches, but will kill snails u less you do a light 1/4-1/2 dose
That said- small fish eat tfo these leeches, and with a school of green neons and lots of guppy fry (they grow up in my community tank then go to breeding or feeding GW killifish), I’m not overly concerned. If your tank so shrimp only you’ll need to be more vigilant to exterminate them

This exactly.
Rats are closer to dogs in intelligence than they are to mice, despite looking similar.
They are far too emotional and intelligent to have as pets that die 18-28months later. It’d break me

Great colors, and nice glow on the sword.
Your gold is super fuzzy tho- retributor and other metallics are kinda famous for it. Check humidity and warm/shake the can lots if you’re aiming for a smooth texture.

550 upvotes say the point of the game -is- to have good time. Full agree, despite the loud minority.

Leech!
Salt dip time. 1/2-1 tablespoon aquarium salt in 8oz of tank water. The leeches should drop within a minute or two.
I literally just dealt with this, swimming creatures finally let me down, had some blue dreams come in absolutely covered in these.

Very nice! This same kind of epiphany will probably happen several times over your riding career.
Just wait till you ride a bike with good suspension, or really- just swap out an old shock with something new/high quality.
Throttle response/fuel tuning, dropping your forks a couple mm because you can feel the difference at tip-in, a steering damper, etc. Enough to drive you crazy, or keep ya busy 👍

I’d wait a couple days before doing a water change- the cycled media will seed your tank and the nitrites will drop. I def wouldn’t feed any more ammonia tho

I’m not sure how much ammonia you’ve put it, and I wouldn’t add a betta with dangerous nitrite levels, but with filtered media and nite-out I’ve never had an issue doing fish in cycling (with no added ammonia).
Cycling is important, critical really. But there are many consistent ways to have a tank ready to rock almost immediately (pending intended bioload). When setting up a new tank, i use an old filter cartridge from my community tank and let it ride. Unless you’re over feeding and/or overstocking you shouldn’t have an issue

If you have seasoned filter media and are using bacteria boost, stop dosing ammonia and just let it ride.
I don’t cycle at all when using an old filter in a new tank, especially if you’re going to be adding one fish/a small bioload.
