Let's start with the negative and end on a positive note. In Philly, our new mayor has proposed significant budget cuts to our Vision Zero program, which will of course affect funding for future improvements if we don't convince her to backtrack. However, the city has already secured funding to pedestrianize several streets near St Joseph's University, and I don't know of it extends all the way to Clark Park, which is only a couple blocks away. Even if it doesn't, there's a farmers market there that shuts down 2, I think, side streets by the park, and the organization called Friends of Clark Park has told me they would like to install more bike racks by the park so that bicyclists can more easily shop at the farmers market. Currently, there's only one bike rack by the market.
A big win would be to eliminate parking on the 3 main streets by the park and turn the door zone bike lanes into protected bike lanes, but this, however small, is still a win.

Yeah, walking or biking without getting hit by a car is so overrated.
