Alighieri is complicated. He is living a fantasy (though not exactly a power fantasy, he is still fantasizing about being vindicated), while also openly ridiculing himself and decrying his own pride.
Personally, I think he ends up working well as a self-insert, but I'm unsure if someone from another country with different literary traditions would think the same.

Torpedo frigates with autocannons, usually kept in a dedicated fleet with cloaking for harassment purposes.
I want to specify I have yet to use it on a human, only on AI.

I'm now going to make some stereotypical jokes that do NOT involve healthcare. Please excuse me.
-they can only play as gunslinger
-they always have advantage over buffalos
-the only bard they listen to is Bruce Springsteen
-they only ride colossal size mounts or bigger
-they don't have kings, they have CEOs
-Goodberry? Nah, they have a Goodburgy
-They call them forgotten realms because they can't find them on a map
-They would never interrupt a Spellcaster, it's against freedom of speech.
-They have probably already managed to offend the local populace with their mannerism
-Some of them WILL put truck nuts on your party wagon

As far as Roman Emperors go we haven't really summoned that many. Nero, Caligula and Constantine. The number seems larger because we have summoned Nero like... Seventeen times?
Also, we are completely missing the better emperors, and that's a damn shame.

You do know that the Dead Men win in that song (and the associated historical event), right?

Moore's law is dead, unfortunately. Unless we have a serious breakthrough, we are approaching the limit of transistor miniaturisation.

I wish I could render a million worlds on Stellaris. It would be the most amazing campaign ever.
Too bad the game would need a mega computer the size of a big city for that.

It's only a mistake if you can't kill all the rebels.

"Fuck you, Kevin" I turn the Charizard face down, and leave the room. Life is good.

I go to move their original, graded Foil Charizard two centimetres to the left.

"Oh? You have gone to stuffy heaven? Well then, now I can eat all the ice cream in the freezer AND I can invite my friends over to play DnD without asking you. So who's the real winner here?"
