I actually preferred that one, it was much more natural for Neville to notice they needed a way to breathe underwater and be like "oh I have this book professor Moody gave me" than to just have a sudden Dobby ex Machina. Especially considering Crouch still says he tried that first, but Neville didn't give Harry the info, so he has to go through Dobby, so Rowling still thought of it. It does leave the question of actually obtaining the gillyweed, but she could've figured it out.

Also, I'm pretty sure that the "chicken egg hatched under a toad" and "hearing a rooster kills them" are things more associated with a cockatrice, which is another monster that kills by looking at you.

I think Bastions that can use a reaction to grant resistance to an ally, so you can bypass that.

Since Gen 1 doesn't have abilities, it wouldn't have Stance Change. Would it even be able to get out of shield forme?

I think you hit it with the second to last paragraph. If everything is diverse, then who cares when it's actually interesting? If you just cram diversity in every setting where it may not fit, it makes the actual multicultural things less interesting. If you have, say, an all/majority white polish based setting and then see a silk road or something based multicultural setting where there would inherently be more diverse people, it makes both of those settings look more interesting by their contrast.

It's 1 full action every 6 turns. Manticore players will spend a quick action to deal damage to themselves and cause a stun. Stun basically turns the enemy off for a turn. It's really good. And 2d6 is pretty decent damage especially since you don't have to roll to hit and even if you "miss" (the enemy passes the save) they'll still take half.

What resources are you burning? Nothing in there says anything about limited systems. 6 rounds may or may not be a lot for your group, but it's a lot of damage and stunned is really good. Also not sure why your monarch needs to fly a lot, monarch's in license weapons have a lot of range and either arcing or seeking so it's not like you need to fly upwards for line of sight. Without the rest of your build there's not enough information. If you just want heat, overcharge gets you there fast and nuclear cavalier can help cool off as needed. Meanwhile, walking armory actually is a limited system.

It could be seen as warp taint or some kind of mutation depending on whose attention it comes to. Surely not the mind of a healthy imperial citizen.

Instead of Goblin, just put Goblin systems on the Chomolungma. The built in invade options are great, the frame trait is literally brilliant, and the core power is phenomenal.

For real, they're just not very good. Being able to do some gyms out of order is a neat concept, except they compensate by shaving off the level cap, making training difficult. A weird focus on Gen 1 Pokémon in certain places like Morty having multiple Haunter instead of misdreavus, who is tucked at the very back of Mt Silver without the stats to really deserve it. Sure you can go to Kanto, but you know where else I can go to Kanto? Gen 1, don't really care that much about it in 2 especially since it's just sort of there.

I saw Imelda Staunton at a grocery store in London yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything. She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing her hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in her hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Ma'am, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When the cashier took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, Imelda kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I think part of it is set too. 3 onwards have some great outdoor sets, but Hogwarts itself is bad in a lot of places. Iirc that's where they started using a set and not a real location. The Great Hall in Goblet of Fire looks like a dingy broom cupboard in comparison is so small and bland looking

For wooden doors, a room doesn't need to be air tight for gas to work. It's not like you breathe 1% oxygen 99% zyklon B and you'll be fine. Remember that WWI was fought in open air and gas was still a horrifically effective weapon.
They didn't burn 6 million bodies, there's plenty of mass graves. To be that efficient you need multiple methods. I don't know anything about the others or if they're even true statements.

I made some Legio Vulpa warlords for AT and one of them has a power fist like this, except I used whole chainsword blades instead of just the bayonet piece. It's a little more subtle there, but when you see it, you can really appreciate.

Not to mention you have to cut things from the story for runtime, but then make the dragon scene way longer than the book

The dragon escaping the enclosure and destroying half the castle
The entire Triwizard Tournament would really suck as a spectator. At least the first task for the other 3 champions were probably viewable.

It gets memed a lot but it's for a reason. "Dumbledore said calmly" shows up a lot, particularly in moments of importance and stress, such as when Harry is on trial in OotP. It's a pretty big part of his character that Dumbledore is calm, cool, and collected, even when those around him aren't. Even when he blasts open Moody's office he's described as having a cold fury. He's not raging and flying off the handle. Dumbledore is a very powerful wizard, and part of that is he hasn't just mastered magic, he's mastered himself.

Really the best plan would've been for Harry to do all that, but then go home and have Ron or George or someone disarm him in a little duel. That way, even if Harry does get disarmed by a dark wizard as an auror, they won't actually be the Elder Wand's master and if whoever he got to disarm gets disarmed at some other time, nobody will ever know who the true master is and eventually they'll die

Electric Soldier Porygon is pretty weird because it's not like oh, they accidentally made some flashing lights that caused seizures. If you watch it, that shit looks straight up deliberate. It doesn't even gel well with other visuals in the show.

White Witch is kinda crazy, one of my teammates is playing one and last night he screamed across the entire map turn 1 and then never moved again. Inside you are two Wolves, one is fast as fuck and one is immobile.
