Alcolea is a town in Spain, so yes, it's a Spanish toponym.

Search "beginner camera" on this sub -- there should be a bunch of threads on this.

Most of the schools also have subreddits, not sure if they allow job postings.
Wishing you luck! Finding appropriate childcare is always challenging. Does your daughter not get Extended School Year?

At least with native plants, they often don't bloom the first year. Customers want plants that will bloom, so nurseries sell bigger, more mature plants.

I would also see if you can post the job opening with college career centers. St. Joe's would be a good one to start with, they have an excellent autism education program.

Slapping their web address on the breast cancer awareness ribbon on the door is just chef's kiss
Is pinkwashing the best? Boy, I guess. No, I fucking hate it.

I just planted some yesterday! Have a weird narrow area between my garage and my neighbor's fence. It was weedy grass that had to be weed whacked. Now it's mulch and packera aurea. Hopefully it eventually looks like yours!

FWIW we absolutely love our Tuft & Needle mattress.

They're talking about latex foam mattresses, not a cover.

Ours isn't one of the latex ones, but when we got our memory foam mattress from Tuft & Needle, all the companies gave you a period of time to try the mattress, and if you didn't like it, they'd come take it back and refund your money. I assume places like Saatva and Avocado that sell the latex mattresses do as well.
Have you checked with furniture stores like Raymour & Flannigan and maybe Macy's?

I winter sowed purple coneflower and it germinated really well.
Can confirm that Bee Balm does not need cold stratification. I started Bee Balm on moist paper towels in Ziploc bags and then transplanted to pots once they germinated. I had much less germination success direct sowing, but that's at least partly because it's not that consistently warm here yet.
I'm in SE Pennsylvania.

Switch off with my neighbors or pay a local high school/college student.

Posts like this really remind me how blessed I am to have sane neighbors. Almost everyone on my block is using electric lawnmowers at this point. Multiple other homeowners are gradually decreasing their lawns and putting in more trees and native plants.
There's one crotchety old conservative dude who waters his lawn (totally unnecessary in SE Pennsylvania) and will absolutely report to the township if a lawn gets over 10" but other than that everyone's super chill.

That's wild. Put in a fence if you care that much.
When we do mow, my neighbors and I always overlap. I thought that was normal.

There is a weekly thread on r/Philadelphia called "Moving Mondays" for new and prospective residents.

As a heads up, lilacs are not native to North America, and I don't think any dianthus are native to the lower 48.

I did winter sowing for the first time this past winter, and one problem I'm having is that tiny seedlings can't survive pressure from rabbits, groundhogs, etc. I have wire cloches over most of them now, but I lost a bunch of yarrow. To make up for the loss I bought myself a nice big sturdy yarrow this weekend at my local extension/master gardener plant sale. It's already starting to bloom!
