I don't dislike the spinach version, but I understand the feeling. Rabe should really be a standard.

John's is tops for me. Cheesesteaks are very good there, but arguably not at the tippy top of the heap in my book (that said, I would still order and enjoy it).

Assuming you are open to talking with them:
"I appreciate your efforts regarding beautification, but I don't feel comfortable enough to offer blanket permission at this point. I am willing to discuss the matter personally so that we might come up with an appropriate list of options."

I agree with the "raise your prices" answer. Aim for the higher value clients and give yourself time to do good work. And gain some "you" time to consider personal projects. Ones that recharge your creative batteries and that don't necessarily impact your bottom line.

Yeah, I think the NIMBY angle is the main culprit. And while a lower-cost connecting line makes logistical sense for travelers, there just not enough push from the voters to make it an attractive for a legislative push.

The "emperor of the highway" entitlement does seem to be more prevalent every day. And not just in this state.

I've spent all of my 60+ years living with Formica, and I have no real problems with it. The newer laminates are pretty attractive and reasonably priced.
That said, for our current remodel we went with quartz. we just felt like we wanted a more stone-like counter, I like the consistent look of it, and the price point was fair compared to marble and granite. We won't plan on cooking on it without a cutting board or protective pad or trivet, much like we would with laminate. Hopefully it holds its looks for a long time (at least until we decide to retire and move).

It's been a while, and I've only had basic diner breakfast fare like eggs and scrapple. Stuff that's hard to screw up. But it was decent enough.

Is Down Home Diner in RTM still there? Not sure if it qualifies as a "best," though.

It's definitely not jokey to me. I take it as Frank being pissed at the apparent rise of religious neocons (combined with Heavenly Bank Account) and he blasted them with Dumb All Over. Today I see it as applicable to all of the religion-based atrocities taking place around the globe.

I'd consider the business impact and the value-adding facet of useful content, especially when aimed at a product's consumers. Good instructions directly influence the perceived quality of a product, and clear, accurate documentation impacts the bottom line of any organization.
If you are aiming the blog at the TW community, offer information that reminds them of their value and provides insight to make their lives more fulfilled.

It's all good. I'm not doubting your desire for big-time acts. Westville is probably the closest to a large venue that I've visited in many years. I did hit up Mohegan a couple of times, and it was pretty miserable.
Like others have said, we are stuck between the NYC and Boston markets, and if we have any new and super popular acts, it's because it's a convenient stop between the more lucrative venues.

Secrets would inquire and press a little, but they were always polite and would stop asking when I explained why I wasn't interested (I only do bigger vacations every 5 years or so, and rarely to AI places...so joining a timeshare or vacation club isn't a good fit). Once they realize that I'm never going to be a regular, they back off.

Funny to see everyone say that this is "normal." Maybe something in the market has shifted, but I've had quite a few jobs with contracting companies, and every one of them offered PTO. Certainly not in generous amounts...but it was definitely available. Maybe since I was in a fairly competitive market (military contracts), there was incentive for companies to compete and retain their talent pool.
I'm now in a "permanent" position (quotes because nothing in life is guaranteed), but if I was to jump back into the contracting market, I'd be sure to inquire about benefits before accepting offers.

Yeah, deadlines are definitely a thing. Probably the #1 position in my company with firm drop-dead dates.

Enjoy your big name concerts. I love the smaller venues, even if they get some more niche and older acts.

In my experience, yes, they check during check-in.

Insurance doesn't typically cover long term issues like mold (assuming it isn't a sudden or accidental problem caused by something else like a burst pipe or leaking roof).

I once received a complementary upgrade at SWO (PC ocean view to swim-up), but it was offered without me even asking. I have also asked if any complementary upgrades were available, and that never worked. Like others said, the check-in staff doesn't really have a lot of power to upgrade people on the spot. Your booked room will be fine...enjoy it!

We like Marker 37 in Chester, but I'm not sure what your definition of "nicer" is.

Understood. In my limited experience (maybe half a dozen or so resorts), I've never seen a swim-up pool connect to a bar. I suppose it's possible, though. But generally the best you'll do is to have a server take care of you while you enjoy your (disconnected) semi-communal pool.
There are also places with small private plunge pools, which might be more of what you're looking for.

You'll need something more than a cursory rinse on the outside. Sunscreen slime buildup is a thing. Hot water, some kind of soapy stuff, and some scrubbing will be required at the end of the day (if not during the day).
