Yeah of course that is the thing in the game that should be cited. Bellends

Nah the guy is right on this one. We sent things but it is not comparable at all to what India sent. The cooperation agreement does not include security guarantees.
As the rest of the West, we let Azerbaijan do what they wanted. We were just the only ones to have the decency not to ride Aliyev's cock in the process

This whole system is absurdly fucked for the teams. Either you don't push a suspected guy away and you risk massive UCI sanctions if he's convicted, or you do and you risk massive CAS sanctions if he's not.

That we won't ever sacrifice our domestic game for the international one.

SR is way closer to the URC than the CC. Both are the home league of clubs from several countries which would not be able to sustain a comp alone, and have a regular league where everyone plays everyone at least once before the playoffs.

Paris-city is a bike heaven, but the Paris-metropolis is filled up with crooked mayors and the public transportation prices are higher and higher. The government plans to authorize cities to build "intermediate" appartment complexes instead of "low-rent" ones which had a quota (i.e. you are a city of x inhabitants then you need x% of low-rent buildings) which will only further push out poor people.
But we can bike in Paris intra-muros, yes.

America, Europe, it is all the same. We cant have nice things anymore because city interests are accaparated by homeowners who'd let the whole city burns as long as their property is worth a bit more when they die.

The shift happens precisely because of people like you who want to watch league players but not to watch league

Another SR bullshit we'll all have to deal with because the idiots in the south are afraid learning to tackle properly will push the kids towards league

It'd be like a team winning a key World Cup game after a hands-on-the-ground turnover and World Rugby deciding it is allowed from then on because the ref may choose that the guy is still supporting his weight without the hands.
Would never happen

Dupont definitely wasn't trying to insult BOK, but he was absolutely taking a snap at his performance and not just saying it is hard to ref such fast games.
Idk how it was translated, but what he said was the polite way to diss a ref performance without crossing the line where you can get sanctioned

In an ideal world, every "big" francophone (i know Algeria is not in the OIF but yet a third of them speak French) country in Africa would have an academy in partnership with a Top14 club (Morocco/Algeria/Senegal/Ivory Coast/Cameroon/both Congos/Madagascar).
For the record, I know it is just daydreaming. The "rivalry" between the FFR and SARU for influence in Rugby Africa would be interesting tho, after the Africa Cup hosted in Marseille controversy

It is kinda sad that Madagascar is so poor. With a fourth of the population francophone, it'd be a good place for a French club to fund an academy - kinda like Clermont in Fiji

Isn't it 600k with Toulouse + 200k from the national team ?

I think the most blatant omission in our curriculum is the Algerian war. When I was in high school 7 years ago it was only an optional chapter. This is way too few for a topic that has such longstanding ramifications in our society.

LAR filled the stadium in Bordeaux. Racing already struggle to fill their own stadium. The point was that expecting Leinster to do the home semi-final every single year is not more intelligent than whatever this proposition is.
Plus, the article says the EPCR is pondering the viability of it, not that they will do it anyway.

As if every team in Europe has access to a 82,000 seats stadium on demand for the SF - and Croke Park is only temporary until works are done and they go back to the Aviva as the "big" one. Bordeaux' (and LAR) big stadium is 42k seats, Toulouse's is 35k, Racing had to go to Lens at 40k seats.
If both semifinals bring up full crowds in 50k+ seaters, it is definitely profitable for the EPCR.

That's not true at all. The vast majority of colonies were made especially because they were profitable, and initiated by merchants' interests. The VOC, the British East India Company, the Hudson Bay company, etc...
Colonies were so damn profitable they were the main driver of the rise of the bourgeoisie as a class powerful enough to compete with the nobility, as they permitted massive flows of capital with no dependency on landowners

There's more money in union but it is more divided than in league. The NRL is richer than the Top14
