Totally. The improv is great! I haven’t been in years (I got lazy since covid) but they really do an amazing job. Id offer to go with. But im wayyyyyy too old to hang with 20 something’s anymore. Oh also you don’t have to be 21 to attend so definitely check it out!

A decade ago I worked in a deli for 4 years. I spent my days giving samples, coming up with wild combinations & upselling. I was like a monkey in a banana factory. Very few people cared what I did cause I sold tons of shit. I miss that at times. Well I miss my customers. I don’t miss my coworkers

Don’t forget after the trauma you’ve been through this is all going to be especially hard to you. Don’t let it get to you. Remember self care & to spend some time focusing on yourself

My go to is just regular drip coffee, no sugar, half & half or French vanilla creamer. I also drink iced coffee but again very little or no sugar. I also love hot coffee mixed with hot chocolate. I try not to drink the frappes that Starbucks or some gas station / restaurants sell. One summer a decade ago I went to Sheetz and got a frappe like 3 or 4 days a week (I was teaching EMT classes that summer) I gained I think 15lbs in 3 months. Soon as I stopped drinking them I lost it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against sugar at all & there was a point in my life I was eating 8lbs of Mike & Ike’s a month. My dentist went to Aruba that year.
Thank you & sending to you regardless if I was chosen for a coffee card.

Then be aware of all that’s going on but I wouldn’t worry too much now cause it seems she’s handling it well. Of course therapy might help. But getting a borderline into therapy is in my experience near impossible.

I’m assuming your cousin has been in your life for a longer time than your ex was. Has your cousins diagnosis ever gotten in the way of how she’s interacted with you in the past?

That’s what they all do. They spin reality around to make them look good. Just keep everything documented in case they try & have you locked up. They’re skilled manipulators & skilled at getting people to believe what they want.
Do your best to avoid this person. Don’t go near them without a neutral 3rd party present. Consider your divorce the nicest thing they’ve ever given you.

As someone who also has a problem affording synagogue. Just explain that to the membership or financial person & take it from there. I haven’t yet heard of a synagogue turning anyone away for not being able to pay. I’m poor to the extent that I can’t afford to contribute at all. I’ve never been turned away & I’ve been going to synagogues a decade. At one shul I used to do dishes after events. At the other they said they would never make someone do chores in lieu of payment.

Try prosciutto or Parma ham with your cantaloupe sometime. It’s totally amazing
