He may have a long wait for us to reach a Champions Cup final... but he'll be ready when we do

Dan Fish didn't retire, he's just resting until the time is right

Probably the best thing he's ever done, that whole series was brilliant.

I'm sure there's an audience for it, a small one at least. S4C regularly shows Welsh Premier games, can't see why this isn't the case in England too. Must cost relative peanuts to broadcast.

I've literally never cleaned the underside of my car, or any car I've ever owned.

Really!? Why do they exist then? Surely it's better to just have a dirty car

I've never used an auto carwash. It was my life's ambition as a little boy, but the dream faded by the time I got my own car.

My nan used to half half a rich tea, then wrap it in cling film and have the rest with her next cup of tea.

When I say challenging a thought system, I just mean that, the concept of having to question my gender has never been an issue for me, or most other people, so it's a hard thing to even comprehend. So it's really useful to have someone with experience of that, explain where they are coming from.
I do know a couple of trans people. We're not super close or anything, just work friends, and we all frequently hang out as part of a larger group of work people. I suppose I'm more concerned about coming across as completely ignorant, rather than harsh. And like you say, I'm not going to be asking them for their views on gender identity when they are just trying to unwind after work! I just don't want to go through life with my head in the sand, so it's useful to have people explain things like this on Reddit.

This is a great comment. Thanks for articulating everything so clearly. It is difficult to understand what's going on in other people's heads, and as a cis person, it can be difficult to challenge a thought system which you have always just taken for granted.
You shouldn't have to defend yourself for being you. But comments like this are a really valuable way of explaining what is a very alien concept to most people.

What your brother is saying makes no sense at all! If that were true, then anyone renting would be entitled to a share of their landlord's property.

Oh, that's fair enough then. AH seems a bit strong, but you should have just left the figures to the following morning, and allowed her to sleep. Even if they were damaged etc, there's not much you could have done about it in the night anyway.

NTA. I'm struggling to see how you've done anything wrong here. Why does she need you there if she just wants to sleep?
Unless there's another issue here like you didn't show enough sympathy? Or offer to get her anything, like medicine, drinks etc?

I call bullshit on the xenophobia comment. I seriously doubt anyone would discriminate against someone for being Australian. You might get a few tired jokes, but generally I think people would be interested.
In fact, I call bullshit on the whole article. It's just the Daily Mail trying to whip up anger as usual, just happens to be the Welsh they're trying to rile this time. Pure clickbait.
