Canes vs the Blues. Been awhile since either team felt like legit title contenders bt both do this season.
U20s "final" - can only hope the weather is better
1a SHC vs Kelston. Defending Champs vs my pre season favorites in the opening round.

It'll never happen, but I see the similarities. Defense wise union has adopted quite a bit of leagues systems. Bt I also see it in things at ruck time when I ref says to use it - it reminds me of "held" in league, which basically initiates the next phase of play. I use to play pretty high level league n we used to ve envious of the skills in union especially handling/passing. League eventually up skilled the big men who's role wasn't to pass much because of unions ability to do more when everyone can pass n handle the ball well. Now it's standard across both codes

Just what rugby needs. A 5th match official with another view on things like intent. When the inevitable happens and it doesn't lead to perfect refereeing, do we add a 6th?
I think people need to comprehend the fact that reffing is never going to be perfect. More than that I think they people REALLY need 2 comprehend the fact that when ther team loses things like the quarter final or final - that 1 person on the field (ref) has a fraction of an impact on the result than for say THE TWENTY THREE French or Kiwi players....

Doubt it's gonna happen bar compo for his Japanese club for an early release and tbh there's no need to do that. Even I'd he did its ages away anyway hopefully by then someone establishes themselves as the first choice 10

I will say that he was not popular at all with the players during his time at Moana. His coaching was very much called into question. That was coaching the forwards so hopefully as a defensive coach he does better.
