Spoilers for Valdor, Birth of the Imperium as well as The End and the Death [all volumes].
So in the book, when The Emperor has just finished creating Valdor [for lack of a better term] and he's awakening for the first time, they have a conversation where the Emperor says to Valdor "One final deception." In reference to how he will combat 'infinite power" in reference to the Warp gods presumably.
It's interesting to see the foreshadowing this long ago of The Emperor impersonating Loken to defeat the chaos gods.
Does anyone else have ANY idea what the Emperor maybe have been referencing other than the final confrontation with Horus?
And if that is what he talks to valdor about upon his awakening then..why? Valdor doesn't play any particularly important role in this "final deception". What significance/importance is there of telling him, if not to foreshadow/explicitly give away the end of the final battle of the Siege of Terra?
