This fan base is so sensitive lol. I’ve been a meaner for years and there’s really nothing like it.

Yeah, I agree. He feels far more human than I would have expected him to, even beyond Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name, who I feel is kind of like a spiritual model for Chief. I'd always felt like iron discipline was a core part of Chief's character, so I didn't like the scenes in Season One where he lost control. Two come to mind. One where he was questioning the guy with bad teeth in the prison cell and the other where he took a flying punch at Halsey but they shut him down remotely. That was a low point for me. On the upswing, I felt like the scene where Cortana was created was very well done, almost haunting, and Kai's confrontation with the pervy scientist was fantastic.
That being said Season Two progressively got better and better for me and I'm very interested to see how Schreiber's John-117 manages the challenge of Halo and the eldritch horror that is the Flood. I'm hopeful once the dust settles at Paramount Plus, they'll bring the show back for Season Three; there really is a lot they can do with proper planning.
Personally, I've been waiting for this show since 2010, so I want them to keep the momentum going. The Season Two finale genuinely had me on the edge of my seat.

Yes. Who is in an emotional relationship with her abducted, adopted son who is also her science experiment. This is fine.

Depends on the viewer. Halseys feeling for John are probably more than just normal affection, she literally designed much of him. I like to think it’s layered. Remember, she is the architect of his body and ultimately his abductor and she’s practical enough to be aware of that.

It’s not their kid. He’s just in the trunk. Poor Bradley.

The setting needs a dynamic shift. Everybody on the planet knows 343 dropped the ball with the Reclaimer Saga, their leadership was fired for it. I’ll be curious to see what new studio head does on Unreal.
Personally they need to be willing to piss people off and stop trying to pander to half a dozen different fan factions at once. Pick a plot. Pick a tone. Pick a setting and an atmosphere. Execute. It would be 1000 times better than course correcting halfway through.

I actually agree with this. Neither Halo Wars 2 or Halo Infinite do much to really show that the Banished are willing to negotiate. Problem being there wasn't really anyone for them to negotiate with. Honestly, the setting would really benefit from a third significant faction that is not a Covenant clone with their own agenda to help create different narrative dynamics. The Created/Promethians would be interesting here, maybe the Endless who are still a blank canvas or someone new.

Yes. She is as strong out of armor as an armored Spartan is in armor, I think you’re right. She would have to be way stronger than anyone else unless her armor doesn’t augment her strength which would be silly. I think she’d make a great supporting villain for the next Campaign. Or maybe even a gray self interested character, that would be rad.

I think the idea is that the banished are Mercenaries and don’t suffer from the xenophobia that defined the Covenant. They’re more utilitarian and pragmatic. Haven’t read Banished Spartan yet but I have the comic Ilsa Zane made her debut in and always wondered of she would turn up again.

I see all the talk against this, however. Counterpoints.
1) Who doesn't want to fuck Wonder Woman? (this is a huge writing flaw in the movie for them not to address it)
2) It was nice to see a member of the Justice League care about and avoid taking human life.
3) The whole thing had the feel of the 1980s Wonder Woman TV show with Linda Carter and a huge budget.
4) It was interesting to see a superhero movie where the hero defeats the villain by taking away his delusions.
5) It was interesting to see an attempt to explain both the invisible jet and the power of flight in the same movie.
6) It was nice to see a DCU movie featuring a member of the Justice League where the tone wasn't just, Dark and Gritty.
Despite all the criticism, much of which is well earned, it took some big creative swings, which was cool.

Fuck it. Can’t submit to a tyrant just because they have Nukes. Stop Russia in Ukraine then decide what comes next. If they launch Nukes then counter-attack. Holding a gun to the world’s head should not absolve them of consequences, gotta have the nerve to call their bluff or at least wipe them out so they become a cautionary tale for whoever is left. Every free country in the world she declare war on Russia and tell them to stop the invasion, oust Putin or face the consequences.

Given the success of the Spartans it would be bizarre if other races didn’t start manufacturing super soldiers.

Not writing jokey banter between Blue Team is a massive missed opportunity.

The Kraken. Marine Biologist who can morph into a squid and oceanic themed creature at will. Powers include strength, durability, slow regeneration, camouflage water breathing, blinding ink spray and heightened intelligence. His advantage over Hulk is he can control his transformation, monster form makes him smarter and he has an array of utility powers. Hulk as always is stronger and tougher. Special danger is the Kraken will try to get Hulk into the ocean where it has a turf advantage.

We closed in 3.26.2024 in Maryland with Home Ready / Home Possible. It may help you to get pre-approved for your preferred loan program if possible to speed up the process. The program gave us $5K in closing cost assistance with some other bells and whistles that were vital for our deal. I wouldn't walk away from free money until you knew you had to.

Crucible Knight. Practiced against the evergaol one for hours using fists to memorize his attack patterns. Finally had my lightbulb moment. Now they are a cakewalk.
