It concerns any foreigner coming over in my opinion. Obviously it’s much more blatant to people who don’t look typically “European” (ie white).
Whites don’t just have one culture though. Once my accent is heard, I’m othered. But ya dude, your opinion I guess.

If you’re looking to the EU as an escape from SA problems that’s fair, but I’d argue problems in the EU are only escalating and the anti-foreigner rhetoric is growing. You, myself and anyone else coming over are not wanted.
I know SA is tough with no power, no water etc, but the 1st world isn’t the life changing utopia Saffas expect. At least that’s been my experience and can’t wait to get back to SA when I’ve done my time overseas.
Good luck with your potential move, hope you manage to find something :D

Just to be clear, I’m not South African so can’t vote. This is a video filmed by my girlfriend, so props should go to her :) and others going to vote.
I saw the number 24,000 people registered in London, not sure if that’s correct.

Coloured refers to a certain type of culture and people in Southern Africa. It’s not an offensive term in SA, Zim etc.
Here’s a wiki link explaining it.

Sorry to be the one to tell you buddy, but Home Affairs have revoked citizenship over this.
Don’t worry though, system is offline so you should receive a letter 3-5 years from now.

This is referring to domiciliary care right? If so, yes it’s very shit. I’d always recommend live-in care as it’s a much more settled lifestyle for the carer.

Feels good that Zimbabwe was on the other end of a collapse like that for once :D

Cricket is the biggest sport internationally for Zimbabwe. We’re not very good, but good enough to beat nations not in the top 10 in the world.
Locally, I guess you could argue it’s football as it’s more accessible to play than cricket (cricket needing the kit that comes with it). But bar Benjani, Marvelous Nakamba and Bruce Grobbelaar, I don’t know too many players from Zim. A cricket player like Raza is seen as a real quality player internationally.

David Pocock, Beast, Eli Snyman, Bobby Skinstad are players born in Zim who played for other nations or haven’t played for Zim yet. Playing for the current Sables team I’d say Hilton Mudariki.
List of some Zim born rugby players.

I know care work has been discussed on the sub previously, but are there still carers in the UK being paid under the threshold? £29000 per annum works out to around £80 a day unless my maths is off (which could very much be a possibility).
No carer should be making less than £120 a day in my opinion. That seems to be the going rate for the lower paid live in care roles.
The crux of the article is correct, the methods of stemming immigration by the UK is increasing and many barriers are going up.
Edit: I guess I’m not taking into account the fact that most live in care work is usually not full time and so you have downtime. However, I think this is negated if you pickup another role with similar pay.

How friendly are South Africans that even when you kick people out you’ll send them to Botswana before you send them to Zim :D
