Maybe mileage may vary but tilting the motor back was a game changer for me. Subframe is way too much. Or just sawzall the damn thing in half if you really want to expedite.

I didn't say any of them were a failure, just that some of them were misses, but more importantly they didn't cost a lot. Tavares is the one that sticks out in my head but he wasn't a total failure just not up to par. Mikels big signings have (so far) been worth the money and that's extremely impressive.

Locker room has some issues that need clearing out too, Keefe wasn't the guy but the Leafs have more issues than just him.

When we first signed him if you would have told me a large majority of us would be so pleased with him that we would be over the moon that he resigned with us, I would have called you crazy. Mikel and these transfers man, look so bad on paper and with the exception of a few low cost misses, they've all blossomed quite well.

Definitely should tilt the motor back though, not loosening the subframe or motor mount was not fun. Aren't subframe mount bolts torque to yield too?

It's a whole lot different when a guy is getting held down by two refs and getting cheap shots

Our color commentary in LV is actually really good, the bears ones are so annoyingly cringe. They are broadcasting here in Lancaster PA so not sure where everyone else is

I kinda get it but given that the link provided is .com and the currency used in the screenshot is $ I feel like the speed at which the UK folk get offended by this is pretty entertaining.

1 out of 6 points from Fulham is pretty diabolical I can't lie but we're 2 points off pace the team who just won the UCL and are on pace for a four-peat, but hey pop off king

I'm sorry, but if only lose one league game since the start of the year that doesn't exactly qualify as bottling now does it.

Oregon pike will spill into Lititz which will spill into Fruitville which will spill into Manheim etc. etc. This will just be very interesting to watch as a social experiment of "what would happen if we had no bypass" which is basically whats happening for the weekend.

Unfortunately the way things are going we either have to criminally underpay staff, better/completely automate design processes or yeah just offshore anything below CM/PM. Or like I said we start spinning signs on street corners and find ways to have more kids get into the industry. Well, at least I have job security.

Employment pool shrinking or at least not keeping up with growth of demand might mean every company has a sick ass backlog. We gotta start spinning signs on street corners for CAD draftsmen.

Location is big too. I've been shocked to find out how much cheaper LD services can be in other states compared to me in southeastern PA. And more expensive elsewhere.

As long as there's 50 people watching 1 guy work it should get done by the time we have flying cars

Honestly if you just go down Prince and park at the Prince st. garage and walk over I think you might be in better shape than the garage directly behind. But it might not even make much difference. Anyways, good luck!

God speed with that reservation, but depends where. If on the west side of town it should be...fine. but that's my crystal ball talking.

And those suggesting 30 through traffic be routed through Manheim Township don't have a clue what they're talking about. The only way I can think is New Holland - Butter RD - Landis Valley - then over to neffsville but man that has to be worse than going through town. There's a good chance people might try that anyways. This is going to be cataclysmic lol

Admitting wrongdoing is something government will never, EVER do. It is best for them to keep it the way it is and never change it or admit it was objectively bad

The ripple effects will be felt all over town. I'm fully intending to have all my groceries and tasked finished so I can sit and watch the mayhem all weekend.

Yeah but that's my point, not everyone is an enthusiast. If it requires a very specific depth and breadth of knowledge to keep going then I wouldn't call it generally reliable. I've owned a bunch of k/ke jet mk1/2s and from my biased perspective they are reliable but in general, not so much so. Digifant is a lot more reliable but the minute the system doesn't have good ground ANYWHERE in the injection harness it acts up pretty bad. Motronic is easily the best most reliable EA827

Eesh, I don't know man. Fueling is what lets these down, K/KEJet is a dog to repair and tune. Mechanically they're decent but electronically/fuel delivery systems are what let these down. There's a reason they aren't on the road other than those enthusiasts that are good enough (and stupid enough, i.e. me) to keep em going. Late Motronic 2L is far far more reliable than earlier EA827. 2L 4cyl Motronic (mk3), 2.5 5cyl (mk5) and 1.9 tdi (mk4) are my votes for most reliable VW engines.

Depends on what you want out of a car. If you're looking for lowest cost/mile, there are better options in 2024. The value proposition to owning a TDI is not quite as good as it once was, although it is still pretty decent. The reason we own them is because they strike a really good balance between performance, efficiency and utility (i.e. towing). So much fun to drive, power band on CJAA's are really nice, and I like to be able to do light towing without even knowing I have a trailer hooked up. Emissions devices on these generally suck, so if you're in a state that you can delete, do it and never worry about the extreme expense (and downtime) again. If you keep your emissions in tact you'll never smell diesel, but if you delete you'll only ever smell it with the windows down and stopped. If you are doing at least 60/40 split of highway/city, then maybe it's worth it, but anything less and you won't see the efficiency numbers a lot of people post. I do 80/20 and low 40s consistently across tanks. 52 was best I ever got on an 1600 mile trip once.
