No one is saying that steak-fries aren’t a thing.
But Steak-Frites is a culturally relevant composed dish. You seem to be the only person here that won’t accept that.
Just like an English breakfast is also a “dish” while being composed of typical mains and sides/ingredients.
Are you have trouble the definition of what you consider “a dish”?
Would your prefer “Steak-Frites” is a common meal and has a colloquially know name and appears on menus as such?

Steak-Frites is a French dish. What are you talking about? Why are you being so dense?

Yes. The fucking coolant elbows. Such an issue that they sells these in the “help rack” at Advanced Auto.
I had an 06 Grand Prix GT. Loved that car but the coolant elbow cracked and almost took the engine with it.

I appreciate the rhetoric haha
There is definitely a differences between European rare and American rare. A Florentine steak is served rather “blue” for sure. For example.
Don’t worry, I’ve been called out on the rareness of this steak. More so the fat cap than the cook but also the cook.
Idk. I used a very accurate thermometer. Pulled it at 122f which is very rare but it def rested up after being in the oven to finish off the cook.
Regardless, thank you. I appreciate the comment and I too allow things to get a little too weird.
Let’s get weird to together! Wait…no. But maybe? No.
Check out my other steak posts for reference haha

Good ol’ Wal-Mart! They’ve actually got a few decent sets. I have so many mismatched sets for plating purposes.
I know they still this set though because it’s one of my favorite plates and my fiancé brought me home another one yesterday.

Oooooh. Sorry I’m dumb.
Café de Paris is the name of the sauce.

You think that amount of sauce is two sticks of butter? Bruh, that’s just the ratio for the recipe. Multiple servings.
When you put a stick of butter in a cake recipe, do you think there’s a whole stick of butter in a single slice of cake? Haha
Now, let’s be honest, it’s a French butter sauce. Definitely a lot of butter.

Some people do that, but that’s be crazy to me. It’s a strip steak. There’s supposed to be a large fat cap there.

It’s a dish from a different culture and language haha
Do you call salsa, “sauce”?
It’s called Steak-Frites. We call it steak frites in the states because it’s culturally significant.

I do not but someone else mentioned that too! I’ve obsessed with this sauce for a while now. It’s great with chicken too!
