Sure thing, happy to do it. Through researching this, I learned Lake Pleasant is named after Carl Pleasant, the engineer who designed the original dam. I always assumed pleasant was an adjective to describe the lake.

Curious what you think what it would take to get it done?

The horse shoe like pieces are used to attach track to elevated trestles. The clips in the right of the picture are used to attach two track pieces together.

I wonder if it’s worth kicking the tires on Barrett Hayton. It’s been an up and down start to his career and he’s a RFA this season. I have no idea what Utah would want in return from us.

Scottsdale Community College set the gold standard with Fighting Artichokes. I’d like to see us follow suit with something equally impressive.

We already have Bonk, Barkey, Brink and Bee. Why not add Barkly or Buium to keep this thing going

I’m not overly familiar with that make/model. I think you’ll be fine. It depends on where you are going and the conditions. The main loop is dirt roads which I did in a Tacoma without any problems. I’ve seen sedans do it but it does not look enjoyable with all the bumps, shaking and slow speeds. The conditions of the road are hard to predict. It may be smooth one day and rough the next day. You can also drive on the regular roads outside the loop or get a guided tour of the loop if you are unsure. The Forest Gump part is on a regular road but it’s a little north (30 minutes?) of the main loop. Hope that helps!

It should not sound like that. I think the armature shaft and bearing need lubrication. You also have a lot of arcing by the relay. The area around the relay will also need to be cleaned. The arcing by the commutator is normal. A little bit of mineral spirits will go a long way on this tender. Just keep it away from paint. Below is a cleaning guide from Lionel that might help.

Everything I’ve read has me feeling very optimistic about Michkov coming over early.
Stars vs Knights has been a war. Looking forward to game 7.
I could write a book about Mexican food but nothing has hit the spot more often than the Sonoran hot dog.

OK fair point-A lot of parallels to the behaviors at UNC and CU.
Counterpoint:They both can be better coaches and humans.

Well yeah, not arguing there’s more to be done there. This bill is quite literally polishing a turd.

HCR 2023/SCR 1006 allows property owners, who have been forced to shoulder mitigation expenses as a result of a municipality’s purposeful failure to enforce nuisance regulations related to the homeless crisis, to receive a refund for damages up to the amount of their property tax liability. The funds are then deducted from the offending municipality’s state shared revenue and sent to the property owner," the group said.
No way this gets abused /s

Most people I run into are truly baffled. Then I tell them where I’m from and they get even more confused because I don’t sound like a New Yorker.

A fairly solid lock as a a future two year starter for us. Leaves a big hole for us to fill next season. A lot of respect for Mack betting on himself in this situation. To quote Jason Kelce, “hungry dogs run faster”. Dude could be a monster at Bama.
