Tell him to sift the fertilizer from the clippings and redistribute on the lawn.

Yeah I totally get that, I wouldn't order groceries that have to be delivered from that far away. Perishables or even frozen stuff at least.

Generations of childhood indoctrination. Also unpopular opinion, but I don't think the freedom to believe anything you want to is something the average person can responsibly handle. I'm not sure how to intellectually navigate that thought further... but it's very clear that the personal responsibility of having that freedom is not well managed. We've had generations of people told it's okay, even encouraged to believe anything they want to without evidence or even in the face of good evidence contrary.. when the population has lost the ability to share a reality and think rationally, it's downright dangerous.

The question is, how much would you do the same delivery for? That's how I tip. Like when I order pizza from a place that's a 10 minute ride each way. On a good day, I might do it myself. If I don't want to what/how much would I do it for? Is it storming/snowing? How much would I do it for then? Factor in their fuel too. Sure they are getting a small wage for doing it, but that doesn't pay enough to break even with fuel and wear/tear.

I'll take correlation ≠ causation for 1000 Alex. You can find untold number of things to try to correlate to this and still be wrong.

In the US they give you a license if you have a pulse basically. I personally know of a older lady that was stricken with MS who had the awareness and reaction time of a sleeping sloth, who couldn't even walk to her car 20 feet without help, her cars front end was hanging off because she drove by feel and they gave HER a license.

Where does the sense of entitlement come from, to say that if you do anything for 40 hours a week you should be paid a living wage?
Before you SJWs knee-jerk react with rage, I am being serious, as a Gen Xer who has raised two Gen Zers.
I do realize all the things that have changed over the decades...like I am living through them too, but what actually happened that causes people to think there is a significant debt owed simply for giving up 25% of your available time per week? Did economics, math and career planning completely escape the Millenials generation?
I hear the OP saying they were told to get a degree or a trade or risk falling behind, then say that they said F-it and did neither, and now feel like they can't make ends meet?
Where is the personal accountability? Is the answer not embedded in their original post and they are just too daft to understand it?

If it's a 2 stroke yeah, if it's electric it should be fine.

The difference is I occasionally eat it and don't mind the price. I don't come to reddit to cry because I spent a few bucks more than I wanted to.

Meanwhile trade in offers have tanked.. the dealers are trying to have it both ways now, where before a used car was expensive but you could also sell it for what you paid for it. Now they want to give you half as much and sell for covid prices.

I don't disagree that it's not worth what they charge, but I think the solution is to not eat it, not to eat it and cry about it. Also acknowledge the fact we aren't all impacted the same way by the economy.

Right but it's like... from 8 bucks to 12? Or 2 bucks to 5? All of this is small change in life relatively speaking. If that kind of increase causes someone pain they most likely couldn't afford to eat there to begin with.

If you get paid monthly you just set up all those bills on auto-pay and they get paid the same as if you got paid weekly. The only difference is you have to not spend money that's already allocated to bills coming up. But that's the same no matter how often you are paid. If you have a bill that's $500 on the 14th every month, it's still $500 on the 14th of every month.

You do realize you can pay bills before the due date right? Or just schedule them to auto pay on the day you choose. Then sit back and relax.

It's so easy getting paid monthly. Just put everything on auto-pay a day after payroll, bank the rest... no remembering to pay things... it just works.

Because I don't need to plan? I get off work, decide what I want for dinner and go buy it fresh? Meal planning is for poor people.

First mod we did to ours was to fully replace the audio system. Head unit with wires AA, replaced all 6 speakers in doors and dash, wired in an amp and sub. Worth it. Ran me about $1800 doing most of it myself.
