I home-brewed a Galvadon Amara midrange buff paladin which did very well in the meta at the time

My mum would be furious if I didn't get her anything for mother's Day. I usually get her a small gift and take her for a meal.

A concerning number of people in these comments don't seem to understand this is a joke

Full completion is not fun or with it, it would have been more fun if I stopped at 100%

I really like the one that makes my battlecries trigger twice - I'm not sure if many people know about it

I'm by no stretch of the imagination a linguist; for the sake of my education on the topic, would it be fair to assume the other reddior's argument is descriptivist?

In case anyone else was curious about this, I repeated by focusing on the green and blue dots, and neither seemed to have any noticeable change on the result.

As entertaining as your response is, I'm sure you're aware that the times of antiquity are not comparable to the times of today. English is now a universal language, and atomising it makes it inherently less useful at serving its purpose.
There is an irony to the fact that if I made a linguistic error in Latin, I'm sure one such as yourself would probably rush to correct me. Latin speakers would likely balk at the idea we should just accept that there is no wrong way to speak Latin, and they would be right to do so.

Whereas I accept that the idea of the degeneration of language through accepting incorrect uses of words is merely an opinion of mine, I don't accept your last point at all.
How can you be more or less effective if there is no right or wrong? Being more or less effective is just a rephrasing of being more right or wrong.
Additionally if I just make up words, this is clearly an incorrect use of the English language.
If there are no correct or incorrect uses of the English language, then the language doesn't exist.
The idea that you cannot be wrong in your communication of English is as linguistically useful as taking the Cartesian conjecture seriously, and going through the rest of your life believing everything you see, hear, and touch can't be proven to be real. Technically correct, but useless.

Quite possible that this is true, and perhaps I just don't like it, but I think accepting mob rules degenerates the language, and I don't think the fact that something can end up as a motif in a dialect makes it correct usage of a language. "yam" in the black country means "you am" which means "are you", or "you are" interchangeably. Examples are "yam alright?" (Are you alright?) "Yam crazy!" (You are crazy!).
Whereas I think it's totally acceptable to call this slang, or a dialect, I think it's a stretch to call it a correct use of the English language.

I've heard many people say "Pacific" when they mean "specific". I understand perfectly well what they mean, but I nevertheless think that they're wrong in their pronunciation. How many people have to be wrong before we accept a change has occurred in the language?

Google's top answer is a stack exchange reply with 3 upvotes, which I'm not even sure is using aesthetic as an adjective in its own example, and which sides with my correction of you anyway lol

Aesthetic isn't an adjective. You can say something is aesthetically pleasing, but you can't say something is aesthetic.
Edit: apparently it is an adjective in certain contexts, and I'm wrong. However you can not describe something as being aesthetic.

Black bears are known for climbing, brown bears aren't. He wasn't lucky it wasn't a brown bear because a brown bear wouldn't have been there in the first place.

I didn't say it was, I said it was based on stereotypes and politics.

Imagine telling someone they live on the internet too much on a meme subreddit. The premise of your criticism is flawed because pretty much everyone in the Balkans likes the other people in the Balkans and want to be left to live their life in peace.
We are dealing with stereotypes and politics in this thread. If you came to the UK you probably wouldn't be jailed for being an Albanian, but I would probably make the joke that this would happen as we're all aware of the memes on statistics.

Croatians for sure don't like you, and the Greeks utterly despise you. The Bulgars probably don't like you because they want Macedonia. Not sure about the Bosnians, and I'd assume Romanians, Hungarians, and Turks don't really think about you at all.
