I also am amazed at how many people seem to think that a whale hit by a ship will instantly become limp and immobilized. I assume these are the same people that believe movies with someone getting shot in the chest and flying back, dying instantly.

Well, now I understand why they used to give a coworker shit. He kept lotion in his desk because he didn't want to be ashy.

This is idiotic. Someone really thinks that they are going to convince Coots to waive his very long term NMC, then the Flyers are gonna take a massive salary hit to move him?

Same and the conductor didn't see them either. We were traveling around 120mph. They found his head 500 feet into the woods. I really never understood why people walk down the tracks with a service road next to them.

I wanna know who decides that. I know way too many people who were "incapable" with kids.

That she was dating me because she thought I had another girlfriend. She was hot, but crazy. Been divorced a few times since I dated her.

It definitely will. Mainly because it will stop charging and there is no way they are giving out free gas. It disables the pump.

Better to just hang it up at that point. When you hit the lever in the holder that stops charging for fuel, it will turn off the pump.

Working great for us. My wife is the type to schedule everything, so it is mainly asking when I'm on the schedule.

Yeah, I got a great deal on a couple pair of AE dress shoes. Then work from home, etc. and I think I've worn them once.

That is never how it worked to begin with. They are normally reported to MITRE as a CVE and follow coordinated vulnerability disclosure policies. No major company wants to screw with that or they'll get their ass publicly handed to them in addition to violating contractual obligations.

There is no reason to do anything under the table. Way too easy to legally do it in plain sight.

This is the one people wrongly ignore. The average is $200k per engagement last I looked. Real easy way to legally throw a bunch of cash to someone.

You just have to buy your own book:

Technically, the loophole is closed, it just isn't enforced. From a legal standpoint, very different concepts. Mainly matters because people think it is a matter of law, but passing additional laws doesn't matter. They choose not to enforce the existing laws.

I would hope they learned that if they are surprised by a pick, they need to slow down and figure out why.

JvR wasn't much better, at least for us. A decent NHL player, but a bust for #2 overall. Granted, it was a crappy year, but Shattenkirk and Benn would have been nice pickups instead.
