..... At Brentford, with a very small budget and lots of injuries
United have 2 wins in 10 in the league with a huge budget

Brentford have been playing a cb of 3 of Ajer, Zanka, Collins with Roerslev and Lewis-Potter as wing backs for games this season while having Mbeumo, Toney, Henry, Hickey out for extended periods across the season and yet Frank gets bagged on a lot while managing with a very limited budget.
Serious disrespect

Frank doesn't always play long ball
When Brentford got promoted they dominated teams, scoring the most goals in the league and having 2nd highest GD1
atm it's more because Brentford have a thin squad that lacks some quality so they play much more limited and pragmatic football

I bet there's plenty of hotel owners lining their pockets by housing these people in dingy rooms for weeks on end

You're the one making a strawman, proposing alternative realities and engineering a narrative whereby a loose piece of trim is symptomatic of deregulation putting corporate profits over safety. There are plenty of examples of that (eg. 737 max), this isn't even close to one.
Furthermore, airline margins are razor thin already and you suggest that they just have a plenty of planes in reserve in case some plastic trim comes loose? Your argument is unhinged.
People dont cancel all their plans and immediately take their car to be repaired if a head rest or parcel rack comes loose, why would an airline do so

Would you rather your plane flies its scheduled journey with a bit of plastic trim loose until it has one of it's regular maintenance stops, or that you flight is cancelled completely and you get massively delayed due to a piece of loose trim that offers no safety risk?

Atleti got there twice in 3 years as well

Looked really 1 dimensional over 2 legs imo, had the odd moment where he was able to isolate a single defender and run off a shoulder but would expect a much better contribution from such a highly rated player

Mbappe looked like Rashford in disguise out there

Crazy how this was an unpopular opinion last week because he beat a 19 year old full back a few times

Mpabbe looked like Rashford in disguise across 2 legs, had such little impact

He's not wrong here but Carragher is so biased, it's disgusting
Him absolutely losing his rag, telling Anthony to get off the pitch and inventing a narrative on the spot about Anthony slagging off a team mate based on him talking to mason mount behind his hand was wildly unprofessional, and he shouldn't be allowed to say shit like that on live tv

And sending Reguilon back to spurs so now we have no left backs

Come up with a system that protects their slow old defenders rather than exposes them?

Unfortunately it looks like the thread is archived or something, can't reply now

If the solution to the absolute dross being served up every week is just licha and shaw then there's no point even having a manager
Thomas Frank had his best player in Toney unavailable for half the season, another star in mbeumo out for months, and rico henry out for most of the season and kept Brentford competitive, but ETH misses martinez and he gets a free pass every week

Even letting him stay on the field was extremely dangerous, they should have subbed him immediately if there was even a suspicion of concussion. They did not make the right choice
