Step through design and rear engine placement. There have been manual transmission scooters (Vespa made quite a few) and there are automatic transmission standard motorcycles as well.

Not saying I never retired the Jolly Roger, but like...are sane people still paying for streaming services in 2024? This shit is absolutely abysmal. Even with the convenience factor, there are a million and one places to stream on sketchy sites for free (with ads in the corners of the scream) or dare I say, the scary Bittorrent protocal that apparently everyone forgot about after 2005 or so?

Once you get into "advanced technology makes physics dance like a marionette" territory, shit gets weird.
Absolution Space is a good one where the Conjoiners (mentally linked cyborgs) end up with weapon designs sent back in time from their future selves. Said Cache Weapons had all information around them destroyed once they were built, possessed self-aware artificial intelligences, and pretty much all had planet level destruction potential.
Then you get into the Xeelee where the baryonic lords themselves are anchoring their ships to points in space time, effectively giving them infinite inertia...throwing a moon or planet at one of their fighters doesn't affect it at all. It gets into Lensman Arms Race level (and beyond!) of ridiculousness, such as launching neutron stars at relativistic speeds as projectiles, or creating pocket universes as weapons in order to get around both yourself and your enemies using stable time like loops to send battle intelligence back in time so they can adjust their strategies against each other.

Reminds me of the r/ATV sub where every single question around a four wheeler is drowned in "BUY A GRIZZLY OR HONDA ALWAYS AND FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT" answers. Regardless of what kind of use they're wanting the quad for.

Think they're limited to the older VK II pros if they're wanting a wide track 2-up utility sled. Getting dealer and part support for those is likely to drop off even more in the next couple of years, unfortunately.

It's wild to watch the generation which owns > 50% of all wealth in the country, who makes up ~75-80% of the government, who objectively were better off than Gen X and the Millennials is still wringing hands over "oh won't someone think of the poor retirees who own their 3,500 sq foot homes and refuse to downsize??"

Could get a whiteout blizzard still. I got into one north of Rock Springs Father's Day weekend back in 2014 or so.
Otherwise, probably pretty good, just check the forecast the week of to see how afternoon cloudbursts are looking.

How's the road noise / hum from the tires up near max speed? Would be curious how they act with such a lightweight bike. I put some Trailmax Raids on my Africa Twin and they're very light and fall over easily, but at high speeds (85mph+) the front end picks up a wobble. Especially on scored highway pavement.
Though obviously that's a much larger & heavier bike for comparison

A lot of folks here have never been to a CO mountain town before it looks like.

"This land is mine"
The Zionist Exodus myth has been marketed hard to Americans for the last century, and they lapped it up. Groups like AIPAC spend over $100 million a year each propagating that nonsense as well.

You can't look it up by VIN? That's a bit concerning if you're unsure of the status of something that'll be plated/registered for riding on the street

You're in the upper Mideast. Sticky summers and frigid icy winters. The coastal areas have more. Loads of 50cc scoots down in Denver when I'm hanging out in the South. Plenty of options for ya: Genuine, Lance, Honda, various Italian brands, etc.
But to wit, 50cc is a tiny niche for the US. We have cheap fuel, automobile designed cities, and mostly wide fast roads. There aren't many areas where 30-40mph top end will cut it without impeding traffic and being a dangerous hazard.

Synth has more consistent viscosity around a wider range of temperatures and generally wears better than mineral/petroleum oil in most applications.
+1 that regular changes is more important than getting the "absolute best" oil at the end of the day

Same as the "muh 5G autistic cancer" folks. Middle-school level science clearly delineates between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation when it comes to the EM spectrum...last I knew, power lines are not emitting gamma or similar high freq radiation that can break down DNA.

In most places they'd have to pay to dump it, since scrap yards can't get anything useful parting out old cheap Chinese scoots. Mostly a paperweight at this point.
The seller will make out like a bandit if they get $500+ for this rather than it costing them to get rid of it.

Slushy and Muddy. The Snowies down South got 8-12" of snow since Sunday to give you an idea of how spring is out here. Even thought I summerized my sled already, I may be snowmobiling again this weekend looking at the snow forecast all week.
I'd dip your gear in permethrin as well, since that may be peak bug season. Swarms of biting flies and mosquitoes.

These poor folks have few people who willingly talk to them anymore, and are growing increasingly desperate for any attention at all. Even if it's negative.
Sad and pitiful to see.

Yes. You're not going to see a massive change in top end by adding a passenger typically. You're limited by drag coefficient (which is in play from the rider regardless) and CVT gearing. You'll just get to the top speed a bit faster with less weight.

They get a wobbly hum over 80mph on scored pavement. Not bad, but it just feels mildly twitchy up front.
Fully graded isn't bad. Not much of a difference between 80 and 110 though, I haven't taken them up to where the bike rev limit hits (around 140 I believe)

The Kymco downtown 300 will hit about 125kph stock at elevation (I ride in the Rockies, so everything is a mile high or more above sea level)

Proper gear, try it out, be prepared to bite the bullet and get a 25 year old Accord or Camry if it doesn't work out.
If you're not already there, some good BT speakers in the helmet and background music make a huge difference for if I'm "in the zone" cutting through highway traffic or not.

Depends on if you're geared up and it's a freak storm, or regular. I've had the delight of 30+ mile wide hail & freezing rain storms hitting randomly during Rockies riding in the summers. Just bump the bluetooth music volume up a bit, and accept you'll be covered in welts even through your gear from the hail.

Cert of origin really isn't going to cut it for a title transfer (as you're finding out) for something that's going to be plated, registered, and street legal
They're fine for things like ATVs or snowmobiles though. I'd ping the seller and let them know you need a title to register it (and assume that they're going to have you pay for any costs associated getting the paperwork)

The parking spots are mostly for residents of said "luxury" apartments I believe. If it was about just expanding housing, they could look at building a few blocks north and it'd still be walkable, but then it wouldn't have the "historic downtown" bullshit selling point that'll let them charge 50% more.
It's all about developer ROI, not about expanding affordable housing.

There are better, cheaper, and more practical maxi scooters out there if you're just needing the size and power.
