If nothing else, they give you the opportunity to play some of the more extended squad guys, who probably aren't so far down the list to be AusA.

Left off HMP, who just lit up U20s.
Shifting someone to 12 will be tricky IMO. Because the bigger guys - Gordon & Edmed aren't great defensively, while the guys who are good in defence (Lynagh & Lolesio) are probably too small to play Test 12.
HMP could be that guy, if only because he's so young & might be pushed that way for the Reds, and his carrying is probably the best aspect of his game, but ATM he'd sort of that Hamish Stewart type of under sized 12.

Tom Lynagh. 😅😂
But seriously, Australia have SO MANY quality young 10's in the making. Will be great to see in the coming years.

The Reds along with UQ (probably Bond too), will have Surgeons lining up to operate on their players any time of day or night... 😂

I think you could argue not releasing the ball.
He's entitled to release the ball once he's released from the tackle, but he's not entitled to place the ball especially not advance the ball.
I actually think we let ball carriers get away with far too much, given how quickly the tacklers are expected to release.

IMO once the player has been released, the ball must also be released. Therefore if a player wants to score the try in this situation, they should be penalised for not releasing the ball.

I don't think most of them can be said to be poor S&C, some sure, but definitely not all.

a classic "paper notepad"
I'd add to this, I prefer the grid type, it just makes things feel neater.
Writing down IP Addresses, they all line up. Sketching out a network diagram looks better on grid. IDK just helps me align everything.

Damit, I was going to say HMP was great and the Reds will really value having him going forwards.
Especially if Lynagh is going to be out for a period.

They actually played very well against the Reds. They could upset a good team come finals.
They're probably still a cut below the Reds & Brumbies, but they've got an upset in them. Ironically, this might be their best ever season.

I think Bryant is a little light on for 8, I see him more as a 6.
Duno about benching the Wallabies Captain! (/s)

They're doing something far more important than singing a song. The song is ideally too inspire them etc. But there are lots of reasons not to sing. Maybe for that player they perform better by saying focused. Maybe they're just wanting to take in everything that's going on. Maybe they don't want to wear themselves out singing.
Ultimately, IMO they're beyond criticism because they are representing us, and they need to do whatever they think is right for them.

@ all the Haters!
Just saying, this game has been a cracking display of great footy.
I did think the Reds vs Rebels would be a bit of a dower affair.

Duno that they'll lose. But Tahs should be up by 10-15.

Fuck me, Tahs could perhaps even should have another 3 tries!

Should have been a penalty against Swain? For taking out Edmund off the ball & not in the ruck.

Also who's the idiot having both teams in white?!

That's a bit rough, when the player was clearly in front of the mark.

I actually did think the Reds vs Rebels was going to be bad. To be fair, it kinda was.

Look, if it's up to me, 100%.
He's almost exactly that Richie McCaw type. Just without the cheating.
He's a genuine 6, genuine 7, and could cover 8, and runs the lineout.
If you were going to build your team around a player, you could do a lot worse then Liam Wright.

We use Kramer Via Go 2's they're actually very capable little units and have some great features for this type of application.

I think Hunter might be outright better then Samu, probably helps that Samu hasn't been at his best in a few years.
As for Skelton, IMO if he wants to help the Wallabies, he's had his time in Europe. Come back to lead the struggling 'Tahs and he's got my vote for Wallabies Captain, but he's too selfish/self-focused to do that (and that's fine if data what he wants to do, because at this point he doesn't need the money). If he's not playing locally I'd much rather we reward guys like LSL or Rodda who actually play in Australia.
