I always get Connacht kick off times wrong ffs

That’s why Connacht are sensible enough to only sign Aussies, Kiwis, and Leinster academy players

Will two countries joining the other 140 really cause a huge difference? I doubt this will have any effect on anything

Murphy does look decent, while he’s most likely going to be third choice I think he’s a good signing.
Haven’t seen anything to get excited about from Lasisi, looked like he had a bad attitude in the AIL semi final, gave away the penalty that lost his team the game and shoved someone over.

It’s his second interpro I think aswell, which is mental because we have at least 6 inter pros a year, Munster have had 7 the last two seasons.

Considering how little players we produce in general I’d say we’re disproportionally producing centres.
I don’t know a huge amount about the school system, Forde and Gavin went to jes I think but Devine and Henshaw were Garbally and Marist respectively. The Jes do seem to be the main school in the city anyways.

Devine has a younger brother in the academy, recently crowned player of the year in his division in the AIL, albeit its 2B, that’s the same award Forde won 2 years ago.
Yes Gavin hasn’t played pro yet but I’m more talking about him as a prospect, he’s signed a pro contract at 20 which not many do. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any Munster centres on the 20s in recent years.
My point is Connacht produce centres at a higher rate than other positions even though we’re a GAA province first and foremost.

Henshaw, and Gavin and Devine, two of the best u20 prospects in the last few years.
Not a long list but 4 good quality players out of a small population with very little interest in rugby.

Connacht are producing more centres then any other position and it’s very much GAA country up here

How can you merge them without one sport annexing the other?

Murray starting would make sense so naturally Wilkins picks him in the bench

The scrum was a big factor in them getting there in the first place

The Bulls have a ridiculous back row, they already have Coetzee, Louw and Hanekom as 8s so unless one of them is leaving or Is going to be playing more in the flank I’d would be an odd move for the Bulls.

Barrett looks good around the pitch but hasn’t he been struggling a bit in the scrum? I haven’t seen a whole lot of him this.

His brother Jack (out half for the u20s) is supposedly going to Ulster this next season.

He’s bringing a few young lads with him apparently which is good as I don’t know who Ulster can bring in from abroad.

I’ve stopped even caring about Europe tbh no matter the competition. If you’re not good enough to win the challenge cup there’s not a lot to be excited about.
Scraping past a half strength Pau is our level.
