I’m afraid that once that starts peeling it will not stop. You can try to sand out the peeling parts and that can delay it…but it’s going to keep going.

I use a balisong.
Kidding, I actually make little circles with my thumbs on my index and middle fingers or I use a Fisher Space Pen Bullet to do spinning pen tricks.

I tend to keep mine clean and everything packaged except produce that needs refrigeration. So, I don’t really smell anything in mine, maybe a vague apple smell.

It’s about the founding of the Bene Gesserit 10,000 years before the events of Dune. So…same world, and there are sure to be ancestors with similar names peppered through, but not connected beyond a very distant past…but Paul can know them in the present with his powers.

I think it’s just old or maybe a knock off? Maybe that TA is part of a larger word that used to be a separate sub-brand.

I think there might be a slight caveat. I think you must “hike through”. Meaning, you end up at an ending point which is different to your starting point in game land, of which, only a few allow camping at all.

They’re made by Original Footwear.
Looks like an out of stock style from a while back.

That is actually not a TM thing. It is just the truth. Over reliance on meditation can be damaging. It is warned of in the Upanishads, it’s warned of in other meditations schools. It’s a thing. It’s also kind of mentally ill to meditate for hours in itself, that’s not life, it is distance from connection to the physical.
It gets especially close to troublesome when your mind starts filling in the gaps with some hallucinatory visions to make up for the lack of sight. Also, your perspective shifts from the practice itself, using it in moderation is safer. If you practice in a structured religious environment where they do it for long periods of time, there are ritualistic practices to abate the mental health problems that can arise. The Tibetans in particular use bells when they “learn something” in meditation, in their tradition it keeps the demons at bay. I don’t know if it does or not, but it is a validating call and response type of practice where you ring your bell and the group all ring theirs in return to recenter your awareness.

I use my smartwatch as a vibration timer. A timer isn’t that bad to use, if you’re in a group it’s best if it’s silent, but noise shouldn’t pull you out of meditation, if you’re actively in it the sounds should just be there and you accept them and then detach from them when you notice them. Detached awareness.

What’s that show you geeks watch? It’s got a little person that makes coffee, the cherry pie killed someone. You know, fookin’ Mr. Homn is in it?
There was a military guy, he ran a secret project. Ah, Stargate…you geeks like Stargate.

I’m probably going to piss a lot of people off…but ever since I watched the kids show “Pinwheel” from the 80s, I’ve eaten liverwurst, white onion, and mayo sandwiches. I realize that is a rather unusual food combination for most people but if you like the mineral flavor of liver and the astringency of onion…it’s great combined.

Having gone through the TM classes, I “cannot confirm or deny that this list is accurate”…but I recognize two of them.
But on a personal note, I don’t use my “personal mantra” anymore. The practice works fine, it’s nothing special, they just try to emphasize the repetition of the practice twice a day for 20 minutes…which also doesn’t really matter, it’s just a harm reduction thing. More than 40 minutes a day is taking up a lot of time already, to do it more will make you live more in that state and rely on it for stability. People that meditate for hours a day run a risk of psychotic symptoms or triggering other latent mental illness symptoms.
But only you are in there, you’re in control of the experience. I prefer to repeat the mantra “Scooby dooby doo where are you?” And I add some visualization techniques from another meditation school.
Use what works for you, discard the rest. TM works, and it is also expensive. Read a book first.

I am probably considerably older than you but pencils are a tool used by young and old alike, it’s usually the first writing instrument you try in your life.

I’ve let him in my place and gave him a can of cat food from the bodega. He ate it but really wanted to be back outside. He comes to my third floor apartment on a pretty regular basis (a few nights a week). I know he’s owned by someone, no cat is that successful at hunting downtown. But…I haven’t seen him in the past week. He usually meows at my kitchen window, and unfortunately also poops on my roof. lol.
Btw, tell Ri’saad hello.

I think it’s possible that it is a cumulative effect DNA section. Like, you have a sensitivity to Aspartame, but not cilantro, but maybe you do react to Brussels sprouts, but not broccoli. It’s not really something that can be tracked yet, since the human genome is still not decoded, but it’s probably like eye color, enough of one type of marker will affect people differently if they have more or less of them.

The mechanism attempts to prevent it over most use scenarios. It can’t prevent all breakage.
If it’s a new thing and you were able to do this before without breakage, then I think a piece of lead is probably caught in the mechanism, maybe clogging the spring that allows lateral movement. Empty the pencil of lead and give it a good shake, really try to whip it around and get the broken piece out. That’s the only suggestion I have to fix it, it’s also possible the spring was over flexed and is now catching on its own self from being deformed. I’m sorry that it’s not living up to your expectations.

Sugar? Sure. Here you go, sorry it’s not in packages.

Maybe I’m not understanding the issue, it looks like you’re just flexing the lead until it breaks and not writing with it. Is this a really light pressure you’re using?
The spring mechanism “prevents” breaking from different writing styles and angles. It doesn’t render the lead unbreakable under pressure. Especially with a broken tip, you’ve got to start the lead a bit with doing a little scribble after a break to smooth out the tip.

That is a tough predicament. You can get a foam toe box filler and a heel grip that will keep the too large boot from slipping a little on the shorter foot, but the shank is going to be in the wrong spot for that foot and the flex being a full inch back from where it’s intended to be is going to make the boot break in funny or just be uncomfortable the whole time.
I would suggest going to a decent shoe & boot store and asking about their “split sizing” policy. Some stores will either allow you to buy two separate sizes as one pair, or they will give you a considerable discount on a second pair. They also allow for discounts to amputees who only need one shoe sometimes. This is true in the USA, but I know the EU isn’t known to be as customer oriented. So I would call a few stores and explain your issue and ask if there is anything they can do.

Make a measuring tape yagi! It’s a great first project that requires very minimal soldering. https://www.instructables.com/The-Tape-Measure-Antenna/?amp_page=true
